Nothing makes this classic movie more compelling without Hans Zimmer music scores throughout this gem. By far the best soundtrack where every classic scenes is complimented by Zimmer’s creative music scores. I love this movie, but it’s nothing without Zimmer’s music. Epic
Edward Martinez dude it’s not that bad actually really good and fun. Ricky Bobby is random and there shifting into 5th and 6th gear and it really makes no sense.
Days of Thunder is the greatest racing movie of all time, with Talladega nights, but not Driven, people praise it like me for it’s awesome realistic racing action of America’s only and best motorsport NASCAR (Indycar sucks because of safety and it’s not that popular), iconic cars, iconic and lovable characters, iconic lines like “HIT THE PACE CAR!!” Funny moments, and strong story. What’s wrong with you people, its NOT TRASHY LIKE DRIVEN (Even though I like driven but not as much as I like Thunder) it’s DA BEST!!!!!
@@kaiser6945 if you mean not using CGI as in using practical stunts, then no, as "Rush" used it. If you mean it straight, well..that's pointless as technology marches on and cgi when properly applied with practical effects where needed is not only more efficient but also produces a better product.
@@asymsolutions although CGI has improved immensely over the years, it's still no match for the real thing. Grand Prix and LeMans are the greatest racing movies of all time because they did it for real, real cars, real tracks, real speed. Although Rush is still a very good film, it pales in comparison to Grand Prix when it comes to actual racing.
Still can’t believe any one out 71 down. One greatest classic film movie. Love watch all time. A plus . Hope put on dvd and blueray DVD and 4 K dvd one steelbox Collection. Thank You 😊 just love how Cole says This Guy going Down
An intense race is going down at 0:59 Crew member: Hmmm yes, the ground seems to be made out of concrete. Tim Daland: It does seem that way doesn't it.
Little known fact...even though they both keep talking about going inside and outside, the entire race, and both racers, were outside the entire time. There's no indoor NASCAR track.
@@corybernstein3872 Russ wouldn't finish Rowdy would turn him into the wall and ram him so much that his bumper will go through the radiator and take him out of the whole damn race
Fun movie, but this scene reminds me of 2001 when Jr. in the baseball car came from 10th or something with 6 laps to go to win at Daytona following his dad's death.
Meilleur film de course de voitures de tout les temps , ma scène préférée quand Cole et Harry discutent et font la course tout à la fin très courte mais scène très émouvante , film immortel .
The irony was the real Nascar was just as exciting to watch. Drivers had full contact and putting each other into the wall....it was what made it fun to watch. But after Dales passing, it changed and was never the same.
@beachdweller3378 the boring tracks started being built in the mid-late 90's, all opened by 2001...they already had them by the time they started racing the Car Of Tomorrow...we've long past the point of fans being nostalgic for those POS cars...Gen 4 was the peak.
Love this friggin clip. But, if this were real NASCAR both would have gotten blacked flagged. Can't do this in actual NASCAR, but that's what makes it such a great scene
And, if you remember, in the scene right before this one Harry tells him to be at max speed when the green flag drops.....this was during a caution. Against NASCAR rules, but it makes for an awesome movie.
You can do it on iRacing, sorta and sometimes you can get away with it at your local go kart track, but not in real nascar, those things if you just as much as touch they cut a tire, even if they could continue after being put in the wall, they would be parked and taken to the hauler.
@@jb111082actually back then they could speed up to catch the field, and if you timed it right at a track like Daytona, you could be catching the field at max speed just as the green flew...
