I don’t understand how dayseeker isn’t top charts… the composition of each song by the band is just incredible and Rory’s voice is unmatched! Absolutely awesome justice to evanescense. Truly incredible 👏🏽
not even top of the charts, they're criminally underexposed even in the post-metalcore world - which imo is what they're part of, along with stuff like Bad Omens, Sleep Token, Northlane - bands that are all really pushing the envelope combining the more traditional metal elements with really slick moody production. I describe Dayseeker as 'M83-core' when i recommend them to people, and I think that sums up the vibe of Dark Sun pretty perfectly
Fallen was one of my Top Ten albums during my childhood. Every song was traced with the right amount of sadness and pain and fear and beauty. I really gravitated towards that album more than the others. Bur the others are still awesome. This cover is simply beautiful and tearjerking. Dayseeker is the best band to cover one of Evanescence's most saddest songs (number one would be either Missing or Hello). Great job guys.
Personally totally agree with you. Fallen is unbeliveable (and still in my top 10 to this day) even to this day Lee and Moody did something thats so rare with an album. Dayseeker keep surprising me with every release as they just get better and Rory's voice and range easily one of the best at the moment. And truthfully I would've loved to have seen them attempt Evanescene - Missing but being honest i don't think anyone could get close to that song it was purely written for Amy in everyway. But i would rate Breathe No More over Hello in terms of their saddest songs.
It hurts so much how much moody gets nothing from it either this was absolutely one of the best albums they ever put put and was put out in this time frame
@@mrhood8357I don't take nothing away from what Moody done for the bands first album. However, over the years Evanescene has grown someways for the better. But Moody as a person just seems horrible.
U have to know this isn’t live right? The auto tune on his voice is so bad it almost sounds ai. Maybe he’s a great singer. But there is no way u could even know by watching this
@@beezybeez4207 As someone who uses autotune, trust me, you have to be REALLY good live to make autotune work. If you put a shit singer with autotune, the autotune will be all over the place, and it’ll sound like crap. Autotune is used for that “polished” sound. Look up some of his acoustic performances without a microphone. He’s really good.

When I got the "new upload" notification, I saw the title and thought "Wait......did they...? Nah. It just has the same song title. Maybe it's a new song just for - Holy shit! They actually did!" And now I'm so glad they did because they just flat-out owned this song. Bravo.
This is a perfect rendition to this song.I've never been a fan of clean vocal "metal" but Dayseeker is something else. Rory voice is breathtaking, mixed with Ginos voice .... Masterpiece cover!!

As a huge evanescence fan this is most definitely the best cover version of the song I've ever heard it's absolutely stunning gave me goosebumps and nice to see that evanescence shared it on social media.... amazing
