It’s time to put my Red Wolf to the test and see what we can get for groups at 50 yards. Can we shoot Sub MOA at 50 yards? Can we do it more often than not? Those are the questions that I want to answer. We’ll be shooting my Red Wolf Standard Power using the Hawke Sidewinder 6-24 FFP and 18.13 grain JSB Pellets.
The more I shoot my Red Wolf, the more I appreciate the engineering and respect what it delivers for consistent accuracy.

That is one beautiful looking gun. I know those guns are shooters. I'd love to have one in .30 cal. Glad to see you got yourself one. The more you shoot with it the more familiar you get with the gun. Can't wait to see more on this beauty. Great vid as always Rick!

Starting at 50yards I just shot sub Moa groups out to 220 yards I don’t like measuring groups based off Moa. My goal is under half inch at 50-100 and under 1inch at 200. The Vulcan 3 never disappoints. Especially with Avs slugs!

Two coments: 1 we men never stop being kids, in the sense that our "toys" only get cooler, more expensive and some more dangerous. 2. Here we have an average guy shooting an above average air rifle, in an average way, like he puts it, getting excellent results. Thank you Rick for the content.

This version is excellent for Field Target competition. DeadEyeNC channel has won many matches with it. It's the right tool for the right job. For EBR. The HP 22cal using 25gr monsters has proven to be the ticket. You should know this brother......🎯👍

Hey Rick I think if you just put some wind Flags out there that are visible for when you're filming so everybody can see which wind the direction it's traveling you won't have to put a mic out there and listen to the wind blow to prove that the wind is blowing and the wind flag may help you tighten up your groups

Hello you need to build a solid bench! Your bench has a lot of movement. Nice rifle.

I know I'm almost a year late but 2 things might effect your shooting. First thing is where the front of the rest is, it's round and it rests on the bottle which is also round, so if your not exactly flat or twisted the same each shot your groups will open. I know you use this rest on other gun shoots but, I bet the had some flat area for the front rest to stabilize the rifle from twisting. The second issue is it would be a help is seeing if you were twisting the rifle when shooting if you used the square box targets (benchrest standard), that way you can have the cross hairs on the edge of the target box. Great test for a great gun.

I have the hp in midnight blue. Mine loves knockout slugs on high power 25.39 gr Enjoy your video. I got the ghost in 22 hp. It just as accurate as my redwolf. Also have the Edgun Leshey 2 in 25 caliber it also shoots very sweet. Have the same Edgun in 9mm and a western rattler in .357. Hard to pick a favorite but my top 3 for a tie is redwolf edgun 22 and ghost 22

Rick I have a Avenger wood stock and a Kaliburgun Cricket II .60 wtc airguns both in .22 cal, I have done a lot of testing with both airguns shooting with this same JSB exact jumbo 18 grains pellets. From my experience this particular pellets likes to travel between 870 to 890 fps.

Beautiful gun I have 30 rifles and pistols .177 and 22 mostly Break barrels and pumpers I have the origin. 22 and the Benjamin marauder pistol love them all but would love to have a better pcp rifle but not in the budget

Daystate Howler Slugs 20.3 Grain .22 Caliber from what I've seen are probably a better match for that rifle. 944 fps with a diablo shaped pellets is a point where groups can get worse. Usually around 860-880fps is more precise for pellets.

A pellets handles wind at slower speed it might work better at mid power or heavier pellet

Would weighing the pellets make a difference?
