I'm having great results with the Griffin slugs, 23 grain 217 pellet base. I'm about to test some .218's in 22 grain with cup base and 23 grain dish base. My Redwolf has the safari tune and shoots the 23 grain .217s at 968 on medium and 884 on low power. Those are muzzle velocities. If anyone is interested in my results, drop a comment and I will update. will be doing 40 meters and 100 also. The Griffin slugs are outshooting the HN sample pack I just received in .218 without contest and I think it's because they are pure lead. I'm staying with the griffins, really well made perfect slugs.

Great shooting. Question on your programming for the 3 levels. Did you just copy the High power setting to the Medium and Low. Then make small changes to get the 10 FPS change from 940 - 960. Or did you just change the current setting on Medium and Low to get the 940 and 950. I just purchase a Red Wolf .22 HP and was wondering. Also it looks like you are in Arizona. High Desert area. Maybe up by Show Low. Was wondering. I'm in East Mesa, AZ and have some land up by Show Low. Thanks for creating the RU-vids, I appreciate the effort.

I have been doing the same thing over here in the UK , I am writing an article for a magazine about this as we speak . My Red Wolf HP hated all the slugs so far sadly . Did you lube any of them before shooting buddy ??

Have you looked into getting a heliboard for the red wolf? Would be able to dial in the power for each slug

Wow fancy having to go to that expense to find out which slug suits your barrel. Do they do a trial pack with say 20 of each?

I have a daystate wolverine .30 100 ft/lbs wish I had a video camera I shoot 44.75 or 46.30 50.15 grain jsb pellets oh serial # hw0135

How can you shoot a slug too hot? A pellet can be shot hot because it becomes unstable at transonic speeds but a slug doesn't.

Did you buy your polygonal barrel ? Or did it come with your redwolf?

Would you use slugs in a airwolf mct?
