I prefer a city like Hallandale beach Florida it’s just beautiful and the restaurants and nightlife is amazing, and Hollywood Beach walk is beautiful and full with bars and restaurants lounges.
You might want to check out Myrtle Beach and Virginia Beach someday,if you haven't already,they have a somewhat similiar vibe,more of a working and middle class vibe,the boardwalks.People up north jokingly call Myrtle Beach,the most northern part of Florida because it has more of that Florida vibe with all the Palm Trees and geckos.Virginia Beach is about the furthest north where you see palm trees growing year round.The motel rooms in both Myrtle Beach and Virginia Beach are super cheap during the winter and many have indoor pools,the weather during the winter especially in Myrtle Beach isn't a that bad usually in the high 50's or low 60's.You might get a dusting of snow every few years at Myrtle Beach,at Virginia Beach about every year.
Thanks for the suggestions, @willbygosh4887! We haven't been to Myrtle Beach or Virginia Beach yet, but they're definitely on our list now. We love the idea of exploring places with a more local vibe and affordable winter options.
Yes,most definitely atleast Myrtle Beach,you might even if it's just for fun want to check out the motel rates in January-February,probably some of the cheapest in the country that time of year. @@Tidyisland
Nice video. I'm just curious I've seen other recent videos showing hurricane damage and seaweed at the beach there? Did you see any of that while you were there? Did the beach look nice or should I stick with Ft Lauderdale Las Olas Beach or Clearwater Beach if I want a nice Florida beach vacation?
Daytona Beach looked great. Locals are still enjoying the beaches in Clearwater Beach and even Siesta Key Beach with increasing Red Tide this year. Las Olas is doing well.
@@Tidyisland Thanks for the info. Hopefully next spring it will be good. I'm in Virginia Beach VA and luckily we have not had any red tide this far north. Our beach looks nice here!
