My brand new Jett boots, the right one, broke at the hinge and I couldn't use it after the first big jump after the 2nd turn.
The hinge would get stuck in the rear brake lever and I couldn't release the rear break. I still finished 2nd overall in my class, but I sure as heck wanted to win and beat those 40 year olds!
