I've been wondering how to change fire mode for 3 weeks lol thanks, finally I've got my assault rifles on burst mode

Right on d pad is how is how you switch between fire modes on Xbox?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but there’s 2 options for console controller layouts now? One version the headlamp is the same button as toggling Semi/Automatic? I occasionally still play on console for a couple hours a month but mainly PC

Also you can use the reticle to estimate distance against objects of known size such as doorways on buildings, windows, chairs, mail boxes and signs…anything that you can relate to the size of a human.

The pso scopes also have a built in rangefinder, the straight line with the curved line above it does the same thing but with target height instead of shoulder width.

@Quantum I found (absolutwly by random) some videos on the different rangefinders in scopes. Usually in "shorts" (not full videos).

Also, I usually use the yellow lines ofcthe ACOG to "fit" enemy shoulders. It usually gets quite a good measure, too.

why break down something that is absolutely logical and common sense. if you dont get this by yourself you will have a million other troubles in this game

@@hazardeur I have 5 digits worth of hours in dayz and wobo's testing has done wonders for maximizing potential. I have a ~2:1 ratio of kills/hours played and im lowballing. This kind of stuff matters to try-hards, like myself. When you go onto community servers and face off against people like Paul (if you are a dayz nut you know who im talking about) you *NEED* all the edge you can get.

@@cjm5002 dude i am not talking about some insane game spec that only pro players discover through years of try and error. all i saying is that you should be able to discover by yourself how and when to use the hipfire and when the target views lol

@@hazardeur Oh there are a LOT of things like that in dayz, one of its best features. Don't mistake my remarks as disagreement because that is absolutely true, 'you won't know til you try'. The thing of it is there are so many weapons in dayz and each and every one behaves different. Like usg45 vs m4 have completely different bullet dispersion, muzzle climb, ads time, etc. With that in mind now a guy has to go find each of those weapons and test them for himself. I have yet to find a f'ing dmr on official so I have no idea how it behaves. Having some kind of reference is really helpful, not to mention someone taking the time to test, log, and share that info.

You do not have adequate inventory space for the mag you're removing from your gun. This often happens with guns that have small mags and big mags.

M16 always hard to drop. It’s good especially hip fire bursts , but it’s too long to push corners in a building. Plus no optic attachments= it’s gotta go. Sks is in a similar middle ground for me. Hard to drop but I’ll usually swap
