I think what happens when you have games that are 10 15 or 20 years old is that all the original devs are gone and the current ones have a new vision for the game. it ends up being a rough journey for the players that have been around since the start.
They need better scopes. And before I hear “muh…balance” the game is based off a military simulation. The guns are all good. It’s about decisions you make. A bizon will beat a DMR if you make good decisions. If you keep dying it’s probably because you make bad decisions. Also, if I nail a 500 meter shot, that just means I’m good. That’s a hard shot, even with a good scope, it’s very hard to hit a loving target at 500 meters. So don’t say “balance” as an excuse. It’s a crappy excuse
Another tough watch from the DayZ devs, unorganised and all over the shop. Starting to wonder if they listen to the community, just seems they’re adding random unnecessary changes
Yeah, usually it's all laughs watching them fail, but this time, I'd hoped for a medium-sized update. All they had shown is new weapon sounds and the new Rifle, which doesn't even have a new scope because they called it an "Exotic sniper Rifle" The ambient music, which sounds a bit meh, was hoping something more like minecraft music with a dayz touch of roughness, and that isn't even coming in the first stage of experimental. (Oh, and yes, some inventory changes) All round not looking that fulfilling since the last decent update was 1.23 back in what November/December?
instead of fixing the inventory bug with the containers, they just remove a feature that's been in the game since forever, lazy ass devs. i hope it's not a permanent change. i guess we'll see.
Ive died so many times to zombies over the years w that door bug. You get stuck in the door and theres nothing you can do besides block the zombie attacks and tty to re open the door
Im just hoping for a new scope. The sv98 that shoots 7.62 and takes acog doesnt really shout "exotic" to be honest i dont really even use the dmr. I just hope they give us a reason to "want the new gun" That does kinda suck about the container thing. I like to put my bandages in the red med pouch and equpit on my hot bar. Protects but still accessible. I guess inventory management will take a little more pirorty.
They still need to fix there glitches like seeeing through walls and door bugs also we really need some new with base building maybe some sort concrete walls aswell
I wonder what containers will be effected. I constantly store ammo and items in containers like pouches because I despise mess. I foresee medic kit, ammo container, protected case all being effected

Man it would be such a shame if they didn't add a new long range optic or made the hunting scope compatible with the new gun. Also why does a Russian gun take western attachments?
We need a fix for the lag switch on xbox, people are lag switching on every server. Base raids are not the same and the pvp is dead. Thanks for the update marks👍
What about all the bugs that came with 1.23 & 1.24? Did they mention anything about trying to fix that too? Or are they just throwing things at the wall to see what sticks?
@Marks12 I noticed some older bugs that seemed to have gotten worse. Such as the hand glitch where you desynch and can't drop or pick up anything until resetting. Some building items lost their sound while being used (I didn't report that one :p). I also reported that getting stuck inside of doors that got worse with the inertia update, which I was super glad to hear that they are addressing that one at least. I know I reported 1 or 2 others, but I can't quite remember what they were about. I need more coffee. I was surprised to see the OP reply to my comment lol. While I have your attention, I want to thank you personally for putting out such good and informative videos on the game. Peeps like you help keep the game alive and help people like me stay alive in-game! 💜
I hope we get more new gun sounds, especially for the AK's. Back then you could figure out what kind of gun someone was shooting in the OG/alpha version. It was also just satisfying to have different variation in sounds. AK101 sounded menacing back then, hope they can make a difference in same type of guns
Stop talking out of your anus. There is 1 M4 2 Kam ect ect once they spawn they have a say 16 hour timer it will spawn at pristine and slowly drop to badly and eventually ruined if no body grabs it. Once the weapon is picked up the cycle repeats shortly and another m4 will spawn. M4 is the only tricky weapon because there are spawns across the map from eachother but you need to get lucky and go to the right spot 1st. Look up notes on how the servers work with spawning, loot and zombies as well as players. You can get a huge advantage as far as knowing if players are in a town before ever entering, knowing when someone spawns within or walks within 1000 meters. You've gotta learn these on your own though 😂 I love easy loot
How about lowering the audio for the birds in the forest. Its so loud it hurts my ears. My tv speakers pop when the birds chirp... why has this not been fixed its ridiculous
Melee needs work, zeds need work, broken running attack needs to be fixed so people can't spam it off 1% stamina over and over but hey..add a new gun! 😂
They need to add more things to the game with updates like we only got a few options in armor and i feel like they should revamp the building in the game
Don't let me get started with the bugs especially with the cars. To be fair the cars have gotten better throughout the years but they are still buggy as ever
I thought it'd be either the SV98 or L96a1. Still not my beauty in the Lee Enfield no.4, but good to see a new rifle. I like the shotty sound change, but still not quite there imo. And I definitely won't be using the Ambient Music 😂
Audio? I swear to god, that's the last fucking thing this game needs. Are they fucking stupid? They shouldn't even be adding anything other than fixes and QoL improvements. But noooooo let's add more audio. I love this game. Hands down, one of my favorite games out there. But this company is soo dumb in the choices they make. I don't think any one of us would be upset with an update that strictly targets issues the games has.
@@Marks12 2 times yesterday i got stuck with this problem... i had to log out and log back in to fix it... first time i just could not change guns, i could not drop the gun or nothing... the second time, my gun jammed and when i started to "unjam", the animation freezed and it just stayed freezed. Could not change guns, drop or nothing then either.. so log out \ in was only option... now i am recording my gameplay so i can catch it "live" ;)
Honestly it was boring and they fumbled showing the new gun properly. The first time i choose to watch them live and it was bad. I hope the new sniper can actually take the sniper scope aka the hunting scope. Also they wasting time on the wrong stuff like that ambient music. So much more they should be focused on like bugs and new better content. Plus they should have added a sniper that actually took different ammo than already in game and made it rare and the top gun. If they don't ad an interesting new map this year official will die but thank god the modders on pc has continued to save the game and keep it alive but sucks for console players. Its time to step up with the development an lock in on the important things. Ghost bullets def still exist to.
They are usually scripted as part of the game is experiencing that for yourself, and they are working on a lot of shit and gets updated like 8 times a year not to mention quick fixes
It's great they are putting resource into this game and updating it. There's nothing else like it. I don't trust mods, so I'd love to see an official map similar to Namalsk. I want more official maps.
What an embarrassment of a stream… 0 content, no wipe for replayablility, devs not taking the state of the game seriously let alone the stream… why haven’t come back in 2 patches after 4 years.
