That's pure stupidity for this game they should just make it so you can make a game without going thru risky sites

So I follwed the video step by step. Everything looks correct but I had a few errors. 1st was Xapofx1_5.dll Not Found, 2nd was vcruntime140 dll not found and third was MSVCP140 dll. Fixed all of those by installing the latest Windows Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 and the latest DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer and then rebooting. Im new to dayz. I can play but keep gettinf kicked for high ping when it spikes up to 300 on the offical dayz ones. If i host a server can i make.the ping limt higher ?

hi sir, thanks for the video, but i noticed a small error in your bat file. you added profile but you put it between quotations while the whole sting is already between quotations.

I followed the video and got it all working and I can play on it (thanks), is there a way to enable my friend to join from a different household (both in the UK), I've port forwarded in my Virgin Media Hub 5 and allowed through Windows 10 Firewall (inbound and outbound). The ports used are 2302-2305 & 8766, 80 is already enabled with DayZ. Also added steamQueryPort = 2305; to the config file. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Brian

If the BAT file closes immediately, what worked for me was putting my server name in "". So for example: set server="EXAMPLENAME"

The system cannot find the file bec.exe. server console says, and when i try to join it says Error 0x00040031

Is it possible to change stuff within dayz like dmg models and health ? Like making a custom server slightly more arcade and ppl taking more dmg

Everytime i start the start file, the fil that opens with it, has a termination countdown and closes at the end of it. It says “hostname parameter is missing” idk what that is

Howzit, so I got the server running my friends outside of my network.they should be able to connect to my server, right? They joined it, but when u tried to text chat, they didn't see it on their screen. I've enabled chat in game options

opening the port isnt the best security practice, what prevents someone from connecting to your PC using that open port? what access do they have to other files?

You need a static IP otherwise none of these online tutorials wont work
