I feel as though in the beginning it was just a trailer but the devs realised people latched onto some type story lore and then played into it more and more.

@@sagpanda5146 I’ve read all three versions of the book. The first release from 1895, and the two edited versions from 2017 and 2022. There is some interesting variation between the first release and the edited versions, look at it like Star Wars. A foundling has trials they face to become a Padawan and to knight to master. The Sith only has an apprentice and a master. The yellow king is a Sith Lord and the red prince is the apprentice, Hanna is a Jedi knight. The book tells the story of the yellow king who is looking for ultimate power to rule over the hidden kingdom, he later kills his master by accident. Like said here in the video. The hidden truth is the yellow king never got what he wanted, because his master was killed. The yellow king was hunted by disciples of the order, to keep the power to them selves. The dayz version we are all seeing, is a nice rendition of the yellow king. We are watching the yellow king on a set of trials to take the ultimate power. That being pox gas or even nuclear, and that’s why the we see different points in time of the yellow king and Hanna. The picture Hanna has with her is ripped in half, which leads to Hanna and her friend being in the same unit or friend group as the yellow king and the red prince. Because why would the yellow and red leave Hanna alive after running into her. The shadow who no one has seen but has leaked information to Hanna is being hunted by the yellow king. Which leads all of us to the next location that will be coming to the game. The yellow king will be shown looking for the shadow on the new map, and at some point we will see the yellow king finding the shadow in the same control room with all the cameras, the shadow will either be there or not. We will see Hanna most likely finding something important in a new bunker or under ground base system. But in the end who’s the real yellow king, Hanna or the imposter yellow king. Who is the one looking for the ultimate power? @XxDDay93 i dont understand it all, but god that is a good explanation of yhe whole yellow king business. Its strange that the dayz devs used the yellow king story out of anything, but it's obviously got a lot of attention and its working. I think you're right in thinking hannah will find this "shadow" person on the new map, and that the room with all the tvs will finally be uncovered in this new map.

Utes Island runway runs roughly west to east so can't be 35/17 unless totally remade, when the 1.14 map teaser trailer dropped I went into Sumrak's stream and mentioned the X again nothing mark on map and Utes and he read comment said my name out loud in excitement and giggled. But if you find the dev video from 2014 showcasing Utes "can find a bit of it on Marks channel" they never confirmed it was going to be added or not and said they are debating adding it or a prison island and we got that instead, still a possibility we get Utes one day none the less. It should be noted that Namalsk runway roughly runs 35/17 too, and if that was to be added instead of Tanoa, Volcano, Ash as I theorized would need major overhaul. At the end the day unfortunately only devs have these answers xD...

@@Drift13b88 I definitely didn't say Utes' runway was on heading 35, I said Tanoa's Aéroporte de Tanoa airstrip was. And during that DevBlog, they 100% said "we heard you guys saying you wanted Utes added to Chernarus, so here it is, it'll be in the upcoming release/patch"(loose quote)....they definitely said they added it and it was coming, I watched that years ago much longer ago then I even knew Marks existed. I'm pretty sure I was the one beating Marks over the head about it when they released that later video showcasing the map with writing on it telling him "must mean they're finally adding Utes like they promised years ago". It could be Namalsk being added to the official map releases, but I can't see him actually doing that, unless the price was really right seeing that's well over a decade of his work that I could only assume he wanted to continue and release it again for Arma 4 🤷‍♂️

@@johnnygeorgopoulos4072 Yeah I know you didn't say Utes runway could be 34/17, but devs definitely said they still debating Utes back in those 2014 vids never confirmed. Sumrak made Namalsk for DayZ but before that it was a Arma DLC and Sumrak working for Bohemia can't rule it completely out but yeah would need a lot of rework using so many assets from stalker and audio files from other games, I just find it interesting with its runway being roughly 35/17 too and since Sumrak using ❄️😉, ScottyB has doubled down and also recently used ❄️😉, id personally rather have Tanoa 100% and have been egging on devs to added it to DayZ since August on Twitter after I learned of Enfusion interview article with PS4 play test, I've been pushing the Tanoa, Volcano, Ash theory of trailer since December 16th.

Regardless, Tanoa, Utes or whatever added we need boats, helicopters, planes or something which is most exciting

Yeah, Cher-nar-us is just often mispronounced. You can even hear it in the some of the DayZ trailers. I said the wrong version for a while, but once you learn the right way, it just feels weird to say it wrong on purpose. Appreciate the support!

@@Bwais Just went to google translate and you're absolutely right, in my native language we kinda say it right aswell, but it was just something about the last 'oos' and the way you said it that was unique :p I will for sure be using the right pronunciation from now on!

@Bwais "Belarus - (bell-ah-roos) meaning Black Russia. Chernarus means White Russia" Native Russian here. Belarus - White Russia. Chernorus - Black Russia. They formulate from words Черный (chernyi) = Black and Белый (Belyi) = White; and "-rus" as Russia at the end.

I also wondered this. They've gone through great lengths to keep it hidden. Yellow King is seen with a black ski mask underneath in pretty much all the trailers that get close enough.
