Hello Fortis Hawk, I am surprised to see a video detailing a step-by-step guide showing the 6-2 bug, but I suppose the knowledge had to be shared eventually. Bohemia did patch the 6-2 in the experimental branch of 1.17 (when they added spears), but the fix for it caused normal melee swings to desync and was subsequently removed. I doubt Bohemia is going to provide any fixes for melee any time soon which is a shame since I used to enjoy the jankyness of DayZ melee. I hope this video brings more awareness to this bug and encourages Bohemia to take action. Also, for those who are wondering why the bug is named 6-2, it was a naming convention that was coined around the time it became practical. Doing this combo repeatedly with a full stamina bar (six heavy attacks) and two light jabs at the end (two light swings) would always knock a person unconscious provided you can land the first hit (six heavies-two lights). The naming has nothing to do with real boxing.
I want to make mention of another technique I use to win a lot of melee fights as well. If you crouch sprint, stand up and left click you will get a heavy attack regardless if you have enough stamina for one or not, they can also be chained together.
i got it but not really consistent. maybe i have problem because i play on ~130 ping server? how long do you wait till the second mouseclick+shift? isit the same time that the 2 normal jabs would take to hit a target (like 1 sec)? or should you doubleclick as fast as possible (like 100ms) and why my targets get always get knocked back obviously and i cant combo knock them..
@@CTheSadFace cuz it uses as much stamina as a heavy hit so its the same, and since the first punch staggers the zombie the second one will miss since he will be out of reach
The fact that you've made a guide on this is not good. This combo WILL get you banned on certain servers. Be careful. (Im saying this from a 6-2 enthusiast standpoint. I LOVE THE 6-2)
How to NEVER lose? u might wanna think this u might wanna think that blablablablablablabl adsaskdaölsdfgöladsfad'sf adsf asdf as df asdf asd fas df obviously everybody knows how to stunlock.. ?! ok bye
You can alternatively also just learn the intended game mechanics and become better at them than other players instead of this cheesy bullshit, I know tons of children play these kind of games though and their brains can't sit hold gratification for a moment
I agree that these exploits are terrible for the game, but if you're not using it, you're willingly putting yourself in a terrible place But also by using this exploit you brig attention to it, wich might actually get it fixed after years of being ignored by the developers
It is an exploit because it's literally uncounterable. There were no videos on this for almost a year and a half and it was usable by only people who secretly knew it and secretly taught it to others gatekeeping a game mechanic that nobody knows how to do and is extremely specific because it's actually a glitch is not a form of skill it's a form of gatekeeping something that nobody can figure out how to do unless you sit there and practice trying to figure out how it works for 3 months just to figure it out. I did this on accident and kept seeing people do it and had no idea how to do it and I wasn't going to put in the time to figure it out. Like you literally have no idea how to do this unless somebody tells you what button combinations to press when or how so how the hell is it still when it literally has to be found by accident and has to be experimented with in every possible combination just to figure out how to do it right. If it's something that's been in the game and was all over RU-vid and was something that everybody knew how to do then yeah I get your point but if it's some sort of gatekeeping secret method on how to do a secret fast punch that no one else in the game can do then yeah that's kind of gatekeeping a game exploit.
