I'm one of those who requested Jaya although I recommended a different song (Feelin' Good with KZ). Jaya is one of the Philippines' vocal trinity who is idolized by the new generation of artists here. The other two are Regine Velasquez and Lani Misalucha. The three of them are absolute queens. For male vocals, Gary Valenciano (his Wish Bus Spain performance is phenomenal) is still the undisputed OG. Hope you will find some time to react to all of them.

I have had a few requests for Jaya that are in the pipeline but will make sure Feeling Good is next. I have added the others to the list although I have already done Regine. The video was blocked so just waiting with that one.

I love that we have different "generations" of artists coming together here: Jason Dy born in 1990, Jay R born in 1981, Jaya born in 1970. All that really matters is that they sound amazing individually and together! Jaya's name rhymes with HIGH-ya. She is known in the Philippines as Asia's Queen of Soul. And Jason Dy's last name is pronounced DEE (not die). There may be other performances of Jaya singing "And I Am Telling You" but this is one I found from 2008 (it's only part of the song, the first 2 minutes of the video): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RuIfRVW4kYI.html.

Okay Big dawg. First you may recognize the guitarist he plays for KZ. Secondly jaya is one of the most famous singers from the Philippines, daughter of one of the most famous comedian and entertainers in the history of the Philippines. These three formed the group Soulja and toward the Philippines to bring back R&B. She is a mentor to many of the people that you've been watching. I'm sure she did the vocal arrangement. Check out her and KZ doing feeling good. OMG 😃!!!!! 💕

Thank you for the rundown Morgan. I really enjoyed watching this one and her voice stuck with me so Feelin Good is the next one on the list with KZ who I also love to watch. I would love R&B to come back to what it was in the 90s/00s but that is not going to happen in the UK so fingers crossed they can do it in the Phillipines.

In the philippines Jaya-regine velasquez-lani misalucha- zha zha padilla, kuh ledesma amd lea salonga are topnotch for older generation,, sarah geronimo, rachel ann go, yeng constantino, eric santos, Jay r, luke mejares, arnel.penida , bamboo are tolnotch of the batches,, while the another batch are coming up : morisette, katrina, daryl ong, gigi de lana,, 4th impact, tnt boys marcelito pomoy And. The breed newest are the new gen of ASAP, the queendom and Ppop sb19 bgyo
