As a customer service employee, I can tell you all right now, that old people are often the biggest Karens. They either are going to be the nicest out of the bunch, or the rudest... there is no in between. They either treat you like you just stabbed their Father, or like you are their favorite grandkid.

I’m a goalie for lacrosse, and i’ve had to play a game where this group of older guys (who weren’t supposed to be on the girls fields) were watching me from behind my goal, and they were rather loudly commenting and saying things about me for an entire half of the game. They tried to talk to me, they commented that I was supposed to block the shot when I was scored on one time, I even heard one of the dare another to go and touch me. I ignored them. My teammates also noticed and told me to ignore them, of which I was. For the whole half I had to sit there and hear them talking about me, and I couldn’t do anything until the first half ended, and me and my teammates went to the ref to inform them about the boys. The ref dealt with them and told me that he didn’t deal with them sooner bc I wasn’t reacting to them. I’m glad that women confronted the guys in the video, I wish one of the parents at my game noticed and did that for me. I know how hard it is to deal with people like that.

Being a human who works in retail, these are accurate 🤣 There was this one time, it was right as we opened. We have three registers in the store, 2 in the front and 1 in the back. Register 3 the one the back is sometimes hard to see if people are down there. I was alone for a bit on the floor in the morning and it was very peaceful not many in the store. Then there’s out NO where this LOUD ASS “HeLLOOOO?” This woman was red af standing and slamming her hand on the counter at register 3. 🤭👀 it was both funny and STRESSFUL at the same time. All the registers weren’t open yet just the front ones so I had to ask her if she wanted to check out at the other one. And she physically huffed and stomped like a child on over to the other one.
