I used to be very judging of people for stuff that they couldn’t help. The internet and people like Daz have taught me how to be accepting of people. Remembering the things I used to believe appalls me today. Especially now that I have disorders/ learned about new disorders. I personally think that’s karma telling me these are the people you could’ve hurt if you would’ve posted a comment or liked that video. This is what they were going through... and it makes me feel sick to my stomach. He said everything perfectly in this video so kudos to Daz

When Daz said "it's none of my business" was probably one of the most respectful things I've ever heard someone say. The "Daz watches" wasn't made for Daz to pick of people and insult them. Though this was posted 3-4 years ago his opinion was still one of the best things I've listened to in my life. He also goes onto explain that we don't know her situation which is an amazing thing for Daz to tell all of his subscribers. He absolutely nailed this topic with explaining what he was saying, and honestly His opinion may not be one that everyone hears but dang Daz Black you spoke the absolute truth. I find Eugenia to be a very sweet girl. all people notice her weight problems and it pretty heartbreaking. she isn't making videos telling girls how to be this skinny or telling them that they should look like this. having weight problems is really hard and its hard to gain and lose it. I myself am underweight and I struggle so much to gain weight and all I hear is "you should gain weight" its not that easy. just please be kind to everyone and this video made me so happy thank u

You're bang on when you say you can't tell someone with anorexia to start eating. I know when I was suffering and people put that pressure on me it only made me worse. I'd feel shitty about myself and because of that I just didn't want to eat. It's a horrible illness and I'm so glad that Eugenia is in recovery now.

I know this is old news now and everything, but I respect Daz so much for the way he responded to this. He treated her like a human being and acknowledged that her problem wasn't going to fixed by random people on the internet, so everyone should just give her and people who were like her moral support. We need more Daz-es in the world. Also...I remember having to actually avoid the Eugenia Cooney stuff when it was happening because I had kind of an unpopular point of view, and the conversation just made me uncomfortable... ^^; I acknowledged that she likely did have an eating disorder and needed help, but I also have a younger sister who is 100% healthy, eats a normal amount and has no significant health problems, but who is just naturally skinny, so my view of Eugenia's health was skewed by the knowledge that some people literally *just looked like that* at least to a certain point. If my sister had been a popular youtuber as a teen, she probably would have been getting the same comments that Eugenia got. All through high school, my sister use to get letters sent home that she was dangerously overweight at least once a year, and we would have to go to the doctor to have him sign off that she was just like that naturally and there was nothing that needed to be or could be done about it other than wait for her body to fill out naturally. She has always had the appearance of an anorexic or malnourished person, and even now that adulthood has given her a little more definition than when she was in high school, she's 5'2" and still only 80-some pounds, despite the fact she regularly comes come from work and immediately scarfs down giant plates of food (she once made two fish stick and mac TV dinners because "one wasn't enough food" if that shows how much she can eat and not gain any weight). So...as much as Eugenia had the obvious appearance of having an eating disorder, there was always a little part of me that hoped she just had the same metabolism as my sister and wished her the best regardless of what the facts ended up being. We really can't judge a person based on their outward appearance, especially on health-related issues, because there are *so many* ways that a surface-level look can be deceiving.

I realize this is an older video, but this is one of the reasons why I really like Daz. Not only is he hilarious and has made me laugh harder than any other RU-vidr I've ever watched to the point where I was trying not to piss myself and literally crying, but he has a heart of gold. I'm not gonna lie I was waiting on the part where he brought up her weight because, I mean it's a bit of a "elephant in the room" kind of thing, but what I didn't expect was where he said "It's none of my fucking business" and "if you're not going to say something helpful or compliment and support her then fuck off". My respect for this dude has grown exponentially in the short period of time of me discovering his channel. You're awesome and you're a great role model Daz!

She's a very pretty girl and yes of course she would look a lot better if she gained weight but that's an opinion and no one should be harassing her because of this. People who say she is stupid or not smart don't understand what health issues actually does to the brain.
