@ it's a mat on the bar that the drinks are placed on so if there is a spillage or the little circular wet patch you get on a cup it is in the mat and not the bar. It's a glorified coaster but they get disgusting
I was a dishwasher at a very popular restaurant. Those bar mats would be shoved into the dishwasher. The fact that she thinks it's totally healthy to do all that is obscene. Those band mates don't deserve her
Yeah,I come from a stable family,but,if we were SO poor to the point were we couldn't purchase needed food,or where my family BARELY afforded the bills,I know my mom WOULD find a way to purchase good,sanitary period products cuz my mom ain't letting me use A SOCK,espically a used one.🤢😞
As a woman who wears socks and has a period, i really dont think socks would be a good pad and it would be so uncomfortable and THEY ARE OTHER PEOPLE'S SOCKS LIKE GROSS. This woman is insane
Also it’s not discrete it would show through trousers and shit like that. Everyone with a period I’m sure has used stuff on a pinch but not a strangers sock. That’s a great way to get athletes foot in your vagina and I’m not here for it

Even though she can. But they're often way too overpriced, though they shouldn't be as nobody chooses to have a period. Menstrual products should be accessible and affordable for everyone who has a period. Like I totally love that people are creative with making their own products too, or utilizing things, like socks and such. I used to use toilet paper and paper towels myself for a while as I grew up pretty poor lol 😅 But I don't think it's very safe using strangers socks as pads because sometimes you can't wash all the micro bacteria out of fabrics. Ever had socks or underwear that still smelled a bit funky even after thoroughly washing them? Maybe that's bacterial buildup? Maybe some fungi could live in fibers no matter how much you wash them. She doesn't know who these socks come from, or if they could have fungal infections that might be passed onto her. If they were new socks then that'd be okay. But I'd suggest washing them very regularly because of bacterial buildup that makes things pretty gross 😅😅. I'm honestly just worried about her health and safety 😬😅
Being a woman, the whole 'using a sock as a sanitary napkin' thing is disgusting and actually makes things worse. Yes socks will absorb it, but it will also go through to her underwear and clothes because the bottom is not lined properly. She's better off just going without.
The sad thing is there’s many women who cannot afford feminine hygiene products They have to be creative like this because They can’t afford it I’ve seen one video of a gal turning napkins into a pat and also into a tampon by rolling them up hard and tight and they’re trying their best to contain the situation that happens every single month and it’s out of their control.I’ve seen videos of gals ripping up the sleeves of their shirts being able to use anything that they can and that is so sad and it’s so sad that these products that are in necessity for women are so bloody expensive and only a few years ago in my country they finally took the tags off of it but for a box of tampons are like 10 $11 that’s insane a lot of people can’t afford thaty
They’re way too expensive, one box where I live isn’t too bad, but you have to buy more than one box bc there isn’t enough. -my college started giving them out for free once a month (they’ve only done it once so far) which I think should be done at every school. There are girls who don’t come into school when they’re on their periods bc they can’t afford sanitary products and that’s just awful

The fact that the band is better then the singer they could find a way better lead singer for them. Like she does not pay them well like literally they should give her maybe 10 bucks every week for Gass or something but damn 😒
