Stunning rock carvings and statues, created between 9th and 13th centuries nearby Chongqing, China. The main cluster at Baodingshan (shown in the video) has more than 10,000 carvings with Buddhist and Taoist themes, very well preserved and with high aesthetic quality.
Recorded April 2018 in 4K Ultra HD with Sony AX100.

Another fine contribution to us couch potatoes. I wanted to tell you: My career was in ophthalmology, tried to apply biotech. I was also into computers. I learned that, in 3-D modeling, you deal with EIGHTEEN PARAMETERS...shape, color, luster, reflectiveness, smoothness....to make a visually credible object. Your brain is processing those 18 simultaneously on EVERY object in your field of view. Now go back and look at those carvings.

The ancients knew. They knew the rocks were of Gods doing. They knew the rocks were alive. Took me 53 years to realize but it’s all gods doing. In all my life I’ve never seen a rock “push up” from the ground. The earth is littered with biblical creatures. I am lucky and blessed to know this. Awesome job yet again. Amazing footage. Thank you. ✌️

Most were made from year 960 to 1278. The earliest ones were made in year 650.

The giant people coexisted with the smaller people back in the day. They were great sculptures, fabulous architects, and I am convinced they had free energy technology. I'm glad their creations can still be admired, although much has been destroyed. Thankyou for this beautiful video, Aloha❤

FYI, In the 12th century, during the Song dynasty, a Buddhist monk named Zhao Zhifeng began work on the elaborate sculptures and carvings on Mount Baoding, dedicating 70 years of his life to the project.

I remember being there as if it were yesterday. It was a cloudy day and warm rain fell upon us, so very few people in such a large area, as if we were the only two there. The sounds of the forest, birds and soft music all through the park. The smell of the plants all around me, the air so thick. China has forever changed my soul, my life and whom I've become.
