One of my own Alex-isms (as I suppose they are, I also being an Alex) is also from "Moonbase Alpha provides a realistic simulation of life on a natural satellite"- namely, referring to any snake, but particularly small ones, as a "Snahkee". It's just fun to say.

"On your bike" is a really old UK idiom. I came across it as a child in an Australian children's book (Blinky Bill). and "Onya Bike" is the name of a bike shop.
