I've been practicing for 10-15 minutes a day for the last couple month and I'm still not this good. He's got the patter down, he just needs bigger lungs.
I don't care if you didn't complete it without fail that was impressive! Not to mention both times when you jumped back in was right back on point. I don't think many realise who impressive this was

Weird Al has done it live, but only a few times. There are you tube clips. Its 100% legit. He doesn't do it live anymore bc it is too hard. That middle section is done in 1 breath. It is the same wpm as 'Rap God' but 7 seconds longer. Ice T is quoted saying Weird Al is top 5 rapper's alive today!
Better than I can do, though I've never tried to memorize it with the lyrics in front of me. I've got allen wrenches to electric heaters, multi-purpose insulation, automatic circumcisers, and matching salt and pepper shakers down. But, the rest of the song is pretty easy for me.
Great memory for lyrics/ability to read quickly, but tone deaf and/or you did not regulate your breathing enough to crescendo, decrescendo, etc., and to stay in tune-no offense.
I don't think he's tone deaf, just either doesn't have training for it, or just wasn't paying much attention to stay in key, he seemed to correct his pitch a couple times though.
I mean the point of the challenge isn't to sing it well, the point of the challenge is to say a lot of things very quickly for a long time. Al put a lot of time into learning these skills, Graham did not and yet he still did a lot better than most people could. Sure he talks to camera for a living, and is a lifelong weird Al fan so that certainly helps, but singing builds up the necessary skills a lot more than simply talking does
