Pity the tragedy of this beautiful country… oh the hurting, the killing! Pity the protagonists, the tragiheroes, in whose minds, they were doing the right thing to save the country… pity their naivety, of young age as they were, unaccustomed to the deadly bodypolitic of a young nation… they all wanted to do good, they all wanted to reflect the aspirations of our nation… and in their quest, they forgot humility, and like the Icarus, flew too close to the sun and burnt their wings plunging to sure death. With all due respect, from a new generation to the previous, to all our valiant freedom fighters, you have done your bit, you have sacrificed much,… let us honour you. Let us remember you with all your humanity. Please find peace with yourself and your nation. We love you.
There is a very common saying that Bangladesh does not have or can't produce any LEADERS. But to my observation, it is actually opposite, which is there are many LEADERS has born in BANGLADESH but unfortunately, we don't simply obey & honor them. We simply do not give them minimum time to become GOOD at it. So during an unstable violent period from independence to 1975. And from 1975 till now, the same potential difference prevails. So Security system have to be on continuous high alert for our LEADERS as we are a BUNCH of Citizen who doesn't have any TOLERANCE, PATIENCE, MORAL, THANKFUL TO OTHERS, NEARLY CAN BE CALLED CHARACTERLESS ANIMAL, ILLITERATE, DUMB, UNPOLITE, DO NOT UNDERSTAND & FOLLOW ETHICS AT ALL, DON'T GIVE ANYBODY CHANCE, DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SHARE & CARE(even dog knows). What happened between 1971 & 1975 that ARMY & whoever had some sort gun, they are in a MOOD TO FIRE/USE them(a phenomenon is known as TRIGGER HAPPY. no harm if you call them MASTAANS different to MUSTANGS). I encountered myself the way my older friends used to break teacups, glasses in a roadside shed hotel, to show the MAASTANI. This culture started in 1971 from various different reason after the INDEPENDENCE MOVEMENT. This is very normal but we haven't done anything to correct it collectively. And as a result, we are still counting DEAD BODIES. Finally, whoever killed our LEADERS for political or for aggression, we all have to realize what PRECIOUS element/talents/values our COUNTRY LOST.
There were many coup attempts and counter actions, killings in the cantonments in the years that followed after 15 th Aug 75. What DBC to arrange a talk and disclose all including the JAL hijacking case..
