As a smash fan first and dbfz fan second, i know where xuses is coming from, at least in current years. Imo it depends on how volatile the game is. Dbfz, MvC, and Melee are all volatile games capable of upsets and swings at any point. Ultimate is alot more "press your advantage", although its a huge upgrade to what brawl and sm4sh were

Trunks is a lot of training but bes worth it if you have him at anchor and always save spark blast for him. I think tien is a little bit overhyped and kid buu is the most fun out of all of them in my opinion. Have kid buu as your pointer, find a mid with beam assist and trunks with your last character should be an overpowered team

Everyone saying smash is more difficult then dbfz or any fighting game I have this to say. When kids start beating the pros in dbfz then I'll believe that dbfz is a scrub game unlike smash where you have toddlers beating your pro players not hate just fact.....half of you can't even block without pressing a s shield button let alone do a basic bnb?

And in terms of comeback mechanics yes dbfz has limit break which some might find "cheap" but smash has a bunch of characters that community complains about who can zero to death you mutiple times without you doing a thing I.e luigi. If you getting beat by the auto combo and grab spam you just suck sorry...get gud

Those games take 100x more skill than dbfz and barely have crutch mechanics that make up core gameplay to save people who lack fundamentals. What new random 15 year olds were ever beating legacy players in those games?
