you're not considering opponent quality or tournament pressure, this is just a showcase video. there are plenty of ridiculously easy tods that are also ridiculously easily countered by skilled players, i don't see this being any different and if it is they'll just limit it to one per match instead of one per round

​@@wolfgangrecordings Fair points, however, the thing about strong tools is- you don't have to actually use them for them to have an effect on the match. If character 'A' has a ridiculously easy ToD, then you have to take that into consideration when playing against them, and the easier it is the more consideration you have to give it. Most ridiculously easy ToDs can only be used on starters as hard to land as 2m or harder, and generally speaking the easier it is to get, the harder it is to have the resources necessary to get it. Even then, most ToDs, even the hard ones, require spark and/or two assists. Often specific assists at that. In that case, the way to 'counter' them is simply to avoid or prevent the hyper-specific situations involved. And even then, you still see pro-players get hit by a ToD often enough for other pros to consider them a good investment. Gogeta needs none of this, once he gets to level 7 and has 3 bars, any hit at all is a character kill. Also, as exemplified by this video, there is no way to prevent him from getting to level 7 and 3 bars other than outright killing him before he gets there. I'm not saying that's overpowered, but it is _definitely_ a threat that you have to take seriously, pro player or not. You _have_ to play around it if the other player is going for it, because no matter how good you are, everyone gets hit eventually. It's consistent enough that Gogeta doesn't actually have to have level 7 for it to be a threat, as long as the Gogeta player has that character and knows how to get level 7 efficiently, you're basically on a countdown. Besides, my comment was only towards people that had a knee-jerk reaction, saying it would be like Gohan Level 7 and therefore too difficult to get consistently in a match. Even taking into consideration extremely disparate skill levels, it's hard to get Gohan level 7 in a match. Obviously that isn't the case for Gogeta level 7. It shouldn't be, of course, Gohan level 7 is much stronger, but that isn't the point. The point is that it can be gotten with enough consistency to be a legitimate threat.

I actually run this exact team (ssj4 rosh and krillhomie) Roshi makes level building hella easy. Man absorbs ki blast like a damn sponge and krillhomie got me that beam assist to stall for them levels. Cant forget the 4 overhead 50/50 you can get against some characters with roshi b.

I believe since the sign is 6S, its considered a normal? So he may have stringed into it from his ground series, and vanish cancelled out of it. I've watched it a few times and thats my best guess, as it definitely comes out of nowhere. If so, having the vanish cancel window on the taunt so quick and still provide the level up? THAT might need a nerf.

If gogeta does 7 taunts his level three super is an instant kill.

@@cucuy5652 i still think blowing up a character instantly is more important than getting oki but i can see why it could be considered a fair trade, it's not 'that' free, it does require a bunch of bar, almost always requires you to be full screen and as you mentioned, gives up oki

It's less that is easy to stop, and more that a lot of times you have to give up killing just to pull off Level 7 If you are able to kill the point and are able to hit the mid with level 7 you were probably gonna win anyways

Lvl 7 isn’t useless but highly unnecessary to win. Gogeta can already make you explode without it.
