0:20 you could add in a ki blast before a standing heavy attack. So 5M 2M 5S 5H

Sick video dude, I've been trying to improve my Trunks combo game but could never figure out what the optimals/practicals were. I think it would've been cool if you added the net meter gain/loss of each combo too, stuff like that is good info to know

Trunks finally got the sauce he needs but sadly hes still kinda out preformed by other chars, hopefully rollback will kinda save him

Yea true, but that’s fine with me! Not everyone can be a top 5-10 character, and it’s nice having someone that still requires skill to use at an elite level. And also, having these different routes to set up meterless mid screen level 3 is a HUGE thing people complained about before, so that’ll help too

you can also do a solo midscreen tod without Sparking: 2M 5M 5H dl 236M 5S 236S SD jLL2H jLLS j214L jS 236L vanish [DR] level 2 level 3

I already have one in the video for a lot less meter (more optimal), but this one is easier - I can’t include EVERY single TOD so I pick the “best” ones

for the vanish optimal at 3:00, you delay 5H to make it universal.

Very new player here :p (5 hours) i have question regarding the easier max, are there any tips that help confirm the 236M after 5M2M5H? I rarely get it, i‘ve played around with the dl timing :/ Does it only work on some parts of the arena? It feels like sometimes i only get a very small wall bounce

It’s only a slight delay, but I’ve also personally found it weird when my back is to the corner vs midscreen - but I’m not sure if that’s just a me thing lol Maybe you’re overthinking it and try taking a break - once you get the feel it should come consistently

@@1capxo when I was first learning the game and combos, I’d go at it for so long, take a break and when I come back I get it first try😂 not sure why but feels like my hands “reset” and already know the pattern, with a clear head too

Maybe you forgot to do the dash before jM? So it’s SD, forward forward Medium, land, forward forward up etc

Pretty sure the 2m into flip jS air flip rejump don’t work anymore since they changed how his flip works, I used to hit it all the time but can’t after recent patch

combo at 1:28 doesn't work anymore? I can't get that 5H dl 236M to work at all. Been trying for 20 minutes, haven't even been close

It does, just has a weird timing to it. Like I told someone else, try taking a break it’ll help:)

@@NovaZayn Hey so I figured out the mid screen max damage practical combo is actually more damage and easier if you do the following 5M 2M 5S 5H 236M 5H5S 236S SD j.5M5S 214L j.5L5L2H jc j.5L5L5L vanish DR if you do a 5S right before the 5H you can just do the 236M as fast as you want and it will always hit. Its also a little bit more damage as well

@@KingDupue that sounds dope! I think that 5S 5H might not work on everyone though (smalls), because I remember saying it would’ve been nice if it did to help hit confirm although I’m not sure
