Would have been better if it were honestly framed. Let Goku have a power advantage in his jobber form, but GG makes up the difference in the beam clash. FF should have utterly destroyed not merely secured a draw.
Sean must’ve been happy to FINALLY have actual new lines in a game to work with. These DLC’s are really good, but I wished the game had this level of effort and quality, such a shame
@@bleh6809 this is the end of Z story, Goku in Z was different from the Goku shown in Super (more mature), and here, the Goku we are seeing resembles more Super Goku instead of Z Goku,
Bro I been watching ur channel since I was 7-8 years old, and this is the first time that I hear your voice 😂💯 im glad to see ur still making that amazing DBZ content 😁🔥
Crazy to think about how this goku and vegeta should technically have been able to use ssg and ssb and yet they still went all out in their most iconic forms. This was awesome to watch
In terms of presentation and interaction, this is probably the best fight in the game to me The Flashbacks (Naruto games style), the effects of power ups , the good animations and proportions on cutscenes -which were a problem in the base game) and the “QTE “. Everything was perfect. Ps: the Kamehameha vs Galick Gun /FF 2.0 oh my god
that makes no sense at all that would mean that vegeta's base is x4 goku's. How convinient that vegeta trained super hard prior to the buu saga for 7 years and he was behind goku training an extra against goku who was stated to be always one step ahead, and now suddenly vegeta trains hard again and he is x4 goku that is some bs. they also killed vegeta's character and goku. Vegeta in z already admitted that goku's superior both in training and in natural strenght. THen having goku say "no I will win!" is out of character for goku too. Goku in z doesn't care about losing or wining at this point only to test his limits and have fun doing it. The whole rivalry thing is nonsense and when vegeta addmited goku is superior what little one sided rivalry there was dissapeared. Goes to show that once they run out of source material they still had the super mentaility. The true z essence is gone now forever everything they add in the future to Z assuing it is not connected to super will still have a super perspective mentality and way of execution. Goku and vegeta will have the super charateristics regardless if i'ts a Z stand alone, that's what I hate about this DLC and everything forward. The super sauce will always be there. @@dolphin-studio I guess the implication is that he mastered ssj2 🤷🏽♂️also it’s not that absurd of a power gap between forms like “Ssj2 trunks going from ssj3 level -like to fucking Ssg or Gohan going to UI just because he got angrier than usual and trained a bit with Piccolo” I’ll take this any day over the nonsense we’ve had in the past 7 years in terms of power creeps
@@dolphin-studiogoku was training in otherworld with a sturdier body in Z, and had better training conditions, here he’s had the same conditions as vegeta, and honestly vegeta has always pushed himself more with training than goku has, so under the same conditions it makes sense vegeta would catch up
Piccolo's move? Not one of the Pickle's finest moments. And to have Vegeta use it more and better in canon is a Hell of a thing. Then there is Buu learning it from Vegeta without ever seeing it. AT is a funny old man when he isn't trying to tell a gag.

@@dolphin-studioimagine if the “multipliers” actually meant anything 😂. In practice, dragon ball is cool guys punching each other. Never about number… actually if anything only the Freeza Namek Saga was the only one obsessed with numbers and even then they did an abysmal job.
The context of Super makes the fight and prospects of Uub and his assumed future with Gokus training seem so much more epic tbh! However the context of Super at the same time makes this particular fight between Goku and Vegeta not as exciting as the idea of them fighting at SSJ3 would’ve been amazing to see prior to the events of Super And the BoG/RF movies
I think once Super reaches its “full circle” ending and finally/officially connects itself to Goku and co preparing for the tournament, games will start depicting EofZ with elements of Super.
@@westhequagsireplus8191Well could be possible that Vegeta achieved another Super Sayan 2 wall which explains how he was able to compete with SSJ3 Goku (Something happened similarly in the manga when Whis explains that Future Trunks SSJ2's form was almost on par with SSJ3 Goku). Add all of Goku's stamina issues since he can't handle SSJ3 for too long made the fight somehow a bit balanced
@@adrianshephardOP4How? It's like saying Mastered Super Saiyan 1 is stronger than Imperfected Super Saiyan 2. Gohan used both against Cell and the 1 lost... That's why there are Super Saiyan levels to show difference between power, speed etc...
What a nice ending between two rival warriors. Vegeta and Goku the last pure blooded Saiyans along with Broly. Hopefully we'll get a Dragonball Gt DLC next. I can't wait for the new DBZ Sparking zero game. I bet its gonna gonna cover the entire series with added non-canon movies such as Bojack, Cooler, Fusion Reborn and more.

Mutated or not, There shouldn't be any varstions of lesser Super Saiyan form to be better than higher one. Unfortunately, dbshit happened and destroyed old Dragon Ball...
Honestly I don’t even care that final flash ain’t in the game because this fight is epic Edit: that doesn’t mean however I will forgive them for not making Uub playable when he is the main event of this dlc.
Uub is trash in Z, and is only fun to play with in his GT version because he has his Buu powers. World Tournament Uub is not worth making a playing character.
Thanks my guy for the upload 💯❣️💪🏽. Sticking with dragon Ball fighterz for PS4 and switch. Getting sparking zero whatever it's called for PS5 so skipping on this. Thanks again reminds me of an episode from back in the days.
Imagine how gohan and videl would feel if they goku beating up his own granddaughter😂. And since vegeta was able to hold his own against ssj3 this proves you can get stronger by more training
I like that they didn't do any of the forms from Super in this. It's meant to be end of Z, and back when that was made none of the stuff from Super existed yet, so this way it's staying accurate to it. This doesn't mean that Super stuff didn't happen or what ever. Maybe they have reasons for why they only used normal super saiyan forms here maybe they don't, it doesn't really matter. It's just a cool nod to the original end.
Well... That was certainly a cop out ending. Lol There is no fucking way they tie. It doesn't matter how much Vegeta trained in SS2. If we're ignoring the stuff that happened in Super, Goku would've obviously over the 10 years, constantly trained in SS3 to perfect the form and not burn through stamina so fast in it. A near perfect or perfected SS3 isn't losing to a perfected SS2 lol.
In the manga, Future Trunks perfected SSJ2 to match Goku’s SSJ3. Maybe that’s just what Vegeta’s doing here. Like a SSJ2.5 that has almost as much power, with less stamina drain than SSJ3.
Who cares if the draw makes sense? I love this fight! It's awesome and badass! It's packed with nostalgia! 🤩😎 I might get the latest DLC just for this fight!
Dont get me wrong, its beautifully animated, but why does ssj3 keep getting disrespected. I get the whole idea of vegeta training non stop, but doesn't make sense that they where evenly matched in base, and ssj2 gives vegeta the same buff as ssj3. They should have just given vegeta ssj3 as it would have made more sense. Other then that its a good dlc.
doesn't make sense that they do eoz after introducing bog and rof. especially when they're limiting the forms to the z forms. would make much more sense for them to use their god forms.
I dont really want to be a party pooper but am i the only one who thinks vegeta should have a advantage over goku when they both go back to base? I mean he was keeping up with ssj3 and everything while in ssj2, im not really complaining im just wondering
nothing in this makes sense dude. They make ss2 equal to ss3 unless vegeta is x4 goku which is nonsense this might be a Z attempt but it has super's execution logic is thown out the window, nothing but fan service and both goku and vegeta act out of character. goku ss3 realisticly one shots ss2 vegeta period, training hard doesn't make a form have a higher multiplier, that idea came form the super manga when trunks fought goku again nonsense. Vegeta trained trained as hard as goku if not more yet goku was steps ahead of him even vegeta admits goku is number one(using pure Z lore not super, super shits on z and everyhting it stands for), now suddenly i am to swallow the bs that vegeta trains extra extra hard and now he is x4 goku's while goku also trained extra hard? yeah not buying it. Actual Z and it's essence died in the 90s so did toriyama's writing, now it's nothing but fanservice and moneygrab, that is the truth unfortunately.
CC2 fumbled this. The final fight should've been in their SSB forms. Before anyone correct me you need to know that up until the Trunks story DLC they tied A New Power Awakens DLC into the main game. For example, when Freeza was "revived" it wasn't from Sorbet and Tagoma. It was from the wish Goku made in a side mission at the of the main game to fight all of the villains that was defeated. Freeza, Ginyu force, Cell, Dabura and even Kid Buu was all resurrected. They used that scene for Freeza's revival in the DLC. What's more evident is Goku is using the final combat you unlock from those DLC, both he and Vegeta are able to unlock level 5. This could've been better, but for what it is I enjoy it. [Even if you don't take Super into consideration, SSG and SSB are Goku and Vegeta's final transformations in the Z era hence the movies]
The end of Z isn't canon to Battle of Gods or Resurrection F so it wouldn't make sense for Goku and Vegeta to have the god forms here plus even if the other dlc are canon I feel like including the god forms here wouldn't be right for The End of Z, how dragon ball was originally going to end before the battle of gods movie and DBS anime.
@@CalebVela682The end of Z is canon to BoG and RoF. I dunno where you got that from. The marketing for the film and Toriyama made it CLEAR it was canon as it always has been. EoZ is canon to the BoG and RoF films AND canon to Super so them not including the forms is STILL stupid
@@STGAoe Dude, The End of Z came out way before battle of gods even existed and that's a 10 year gap. It was never once stated to be canon to DBS nor the movies.
in the OG material it wasn't their plus no point in doing that since manga still going and forms still getting added it will just make things more complicated for what???? nothing a different hair color just enjoy the fight @@STGAoe
Does this new DLC add anything to the main game? I know DLCs 4 and 5 are independent of the main game, but 1-3 actually added new movements to basegame Goku, trunks, vegeta, etc.
He beat him plenty of times while sparring. Vegeta in the manga claimed to have finally beaten Kakarot! Which means he hasn't won a sparring match before. They were training for like 3 years in the hbtc and sparring constantly, so that means goku won all of those sparring sessions. Vegeta's "wins" in the saiyan saga and buu saga don't count in his eyes.
@@justincrider3710 >he "beat" him off-screen Proof? Shall we take the word of characters who recall Vegeta beating and killing Piccolo, Yamcha, Tien and Chiaotzu, because Nappa doesn't exist? These are the same people who completely misremember events. I only take seriously the things shown. That can be trusted. NOTE: It would be like counting the encounters of Goten and Trunks in their 'showdowns' where the former always lost to the latter. Who knows the truth of that? Why would you even count it? Stick to the facts. Accounts of unreliable types are not to be given weight so carelessly. >Vegeta in non-canon material said a thing Even in canon his thoughts and feelings weren't trustworthy for facts. He also agreed he did in the noted, by the way. This is the guy who felt 1-0 wasn't his win. It wasn't good enough for him. Same for 4-0. Doesn't even recognized 2-0 or 3-0. I'll do the counting based on what 'is'. Reality of outcomes and results. Not sentiment. The objective, rather than the subjective. >don't count in his eyes You a woman, Justine? Is this how it works even in playfights like bloodsports? Someone doesn't FEEL like they won, so the record is struck? Laughable. If you beat them ragged or just slump them? You win. In real fights, if you trick them to clutch the dub? Legit. No rules. That's life (and death **as he could have erased the existence of the vassal during 4-0). NOTE: With Super, there is also 5-0 (anime ending) and 6-0 (what you noted).
I would have been satisfied with the ending fight if they actually got a whole Planet as an arena like how vegeta actually intended. I know it’s a game but ss3 vs ss2 vegeta it’s unfair but this game will call it ALL out ? It’s been 10 years the time gap has been now officially filled they have the god forms. By the end of Z they are also the strongest also. No reason for vegeta to not have the end of Z outfit like why?
Been getting into debates with others about it, but it’s probably because CC2 made a creative choice to make this DLC under the lense of the original ending of Z. What I mean by this is the original ending of Z as it was depicted back in 1995 before Super came into the picture. Not only that, but even though Super happens right before the End of Z, the actual full circle moment of Super ending that connects with Goku and co preparing for the tournament has yet to be officially adapted. So within this lense & context, I could see that CC2 decided to play the safe route and not jump to conclusions by making the DLC in context to the End of Z as it was rather than including aspects of Super if that makes sense.
i hope they do the movies next for Season pass 6 i don't want GT or Super yet let those two be the final two sagas GT Season pass 7 Super Season pass 8 because it would so cool too end it off with a bang
