I'm thoroughly convinced that this is Faulconer's best OST for DBZ. There isn't a better song he made to fit a scene as well as this song that captivates Vegeta's pride and evil deep inside and his greed to fight Goku at the time of the Buu Saga that he would revert back to his old self and selfishly kill innocents just to get what he wants. Geniusly composed.
Vegeta: His Pride Frieza: His Greed Cell: His Passion Buu: His Hobby Beerus: His Job Champa: His Gluttony Omega Shenron: His Wrath Super Seventeen: Shits and giggles
Hero Uchiha fair enough, many people enjoyed it, many disliked it, i personally enjoyed some of the new characters and the super ozaru and the SSJ4, the rest, to me, was crap
Freiza had a motive - Universal domination. Cell had a motive - To become perfect. Buu... Buu had no such motive. He was a force of unrivaled and unparalleled might, a being created simply to destroy. All he cared about was turning planets to ash over and over again and nothing could stand in his way. The others had an aspect of humanity that meant they were at least in some small way understandable , buu was simply a force of evil, a force born to turn the universe to dust and leave nothing in his wake. That was what made him so utterly terrifying.
+Deathblazer96 I don't want to be "that guy" who points out shit that ultimately doesn't truly matter in the grand scheme of things but i'm going to do it anyway cause why the fuck not? Buu did have a mind it was just extremely limited and purely focused on the fun of killing, destruction, and causing others (mainly strong warriors) extreme pain as he tortures his enemy's who are too weak to fight back at that point such as Vegeta and fat buu. Still he might as well have had no mind so your point still stands.
“I take it you are pleased master babidi?” “Oh yes, immensely so. Whata great discovery you have made dabura. This one is nothing like the others, Yes you hit tye nail right on the head. What a beautiful, arrogant, selfish piece of work.
the theme of evil reborn :o Vegeta gets taken by a power that brings out the evil in people.....yet while in his Majin form he still shows love for the people he cares about, he tells trunks to look after Bulma and even hugs his son!!....''trunks you are my only son and i haven't held you once since you were a baby have i'' and he even says hes proud of him....Only Vegeta can open his heart in a form that brings out the evil....what a badass
@@TonyBMan wll obviously Babidi got Vegeta as a traded soul, but he hadn't gotten enough badges to control him. in fact he probably had zero badges, as he couldn't even control Buu that he got traded from his father. instead of following orders, Buu mainly just loafed around.
I loved that part, it fit so perfectly. Frieza was bad, Cell was just creepy, but Buu was the biggest & baddest of them all in the Z saga. He was the only one the Z fighters were truly helpless against at first, and was the only one who actually managed to destroy the Earth, not to mention killing EVERYONE except Goku. No other villain gave off the sense of fear and despair that Buu did.
Buu really did have his own 'reign' - Killed off Dabura and nearly killed Gohan & Supreme Kai - Even Vegeta at SS2 couldn't do anything to hurt Buu. His Final Explosion failed. - Goku's time was running out and even his SS3 form was soon outclassed by Buu - Buu eventually turned good, but his evil side won the battle. Enter Super Buu - Gotenks while powerful at SS3, were too cocky and inexperienced to really take down Buu - The lookout was now unguarded. No Gohan, Goku, Vegeta, or Gotenks. The end was real - Fat Buu killed off most of the Earth's population, while Super Buu finished the rest in a single attack (aside from Tien and Hercule) - Gohan, despite his powerup, still failed and got whooped after Buutenks happened, and even Goku let his guard down around Buucolo. Enter Buuhan - Vegito severely outclassed Buuhan. But the fusion eventually failed and they learned fighting Buu inside on himself was just as bad - Enter Kid Buu, who blows up the Earth first try, fails and then launches a giant blast that Vegeta and Goku couldn't stop - Kid Buu would have won if it wasn't for Kabito Kai's travel abilities, as Goku couldn't focus on teleporting. Oh and Gohan, Piccolo, Goten, and Trunks are dead - Kid Buu goes to Otherworld. Even the dead aren't safe from this Majin terror. He also blows up multiple planets in minutes. - Goku's SS3 tires out against Kid Buu and Vegeta gets wrecked. And only Good Buu could hold off Kid Buu for so long - Gathering the dragonballs and completing the wishes took time, not to mention getting people to participate in the Spirit Bomb - Goku (and Universe) would of lost if it wasn't for Hercule & the Namekian dragonballs. His 'lie' on defeating Cell allowed people to trust him, which helped complete the Spirit Bomb. He also saved Vegeta too. The final wish also helped Goku regain his strength. Buu literally was the most difficult (and successful) villain they fought and was on a Universal scale.
Majin Buu was the most terrifying and most successful villain in all of dragon ball. He was the only villain to wipe out everyone on Earth. But the arc itself was bad because of the Storytelling and decisions made from Toriyama. After Babidi, everything went downhill because there was basically no plot in the story. Just Destruction and stopping Majin Buu.
TheKinfing if you mean origins, then yes. Its speculated that Friezas race were the Arcosians, who made business with the saiyans. They were also the founders of the planet trade organization
Goku to Buu: When I first met you, I can sense some good in you. You were like a naughty little child who didn't know better. Fighting was more of a game than anything else. But then, you separated. The evil was expelled. The struggle taking place inside of you was now on the outside for all to see and the darkness overpowered the light. After that you were different, you were ruthless. You became a living nightmare and you delighted every moment of it.
This is one of the most epic themes on dbz shit crazy! I like how during the ss2 goku and kid buu fight it played while the planet was getting destroy (well tht area)
I play this when I’m in the gym, everything in my sight gets annihilated I portray my struggles in life the same way the mighty Saiyan prince did then I purposely allow my self to fall for babidi’s magic spell. I then become Majin.
They should have put this theme in the Android saga where Android 17 & 18 was able to defeat the z fighters or when #17 killed Dr gero in front of them.
This theme is quite different from most other themes from the buu saga. This one is quite slow, while for example all the buu themes are more fast-paced. But I still think this is one of the best themes in DBZ.
"What's the matter not winning as easily as you thought?" "I never said it would be easy. " "Ha! You won't be winning at all?" *bitch slaps Goku twice*
Vegeta: ARGHHHHHH SOMETHING IS ATTACKING ME Goku: Where? We can't see anything Vegeta: INSIDE! Supreme Kai: Fight it.......resist Vegeta: I can't Supreme Kai: You must Babidi: I'm afraid it's too late. You belong to us now
+dan mail I have to ask you to cover up that M on your head sir. I was once tickle tortured really hard by a guy called Michael and your tattoo is triggering me. *Vegeta final flashes stadium...TWICE*
If Goku had just come back to Earth after the Cell Games, he and Vegeta would have settled the score, Gohan would be insanely strong, and they would have just plowed through whatever Babidi threw at them and captured the Buu egg. So, I really don't blame Vegeta for Buu getting free as much as Goku for abandoning his friends, family, and planet to fulfill his own lust for power.
No, it's not. That's the reason the Funmation Dub gave- the original reason is because he wanted to 'fight strong opponents.' And even if it was, how the hell could he be so sure that there would NEVER be a threat to the Earth again? Is Goku so arrogant that he thinks the every badguy in the universe exists just to try and steal his lunch money? Surely, if villains were looking for strong people, he would be concerned with the OTHER super-humans on Earth. Raditz and Piccolo were the only real bad guys because of him (and Piccolo turned out to be good... not only that, Pilaf freed Piccolo to have revenge on Goku AND HIS FRIENDS. You know, the ones he reduced to canon fodder?) . Gero probably still would have made the androids and tried to take over the Earth, and Frieza would have still expanded his galactic empire, so he probably would have reached Earth eventually anyway. It was already a target for the Planet Trade Organization. And even then, who else could have possibly had a grudge on him that was strong enough to be a threat?
i think that was a dub only line about the parents. For all we know Freezas race reproduces asexually. or she could be dead or weak. clearly Cold was basically hiding behind his sons power, so we have no reason to assume shed even be strong.
***** Even if Frieza's mother was TWICE as powerful as Frieza or Cooler, Piccolo could still wipe her out easily, and that's not even considering Gohan or Vegeta. And why would she wait so long for revenge? Even in the case she was training or something, do you think she would just go to Earth and forgot her grudge if Goku wasn't there? No, she'd blow it the fuck up. And with Emperor Pilaf- he's a joke. It's true that he's good with machines, but the androids are on a whole different level of technology. Not only that, he's ridiculously child like and incompetent... just watch Battle of the Gods, or hell, the original series. And even if Pilaf somehow managed to build an android, he would also try to get revenge on, you know, Goku's FRIENDS. He didn't take on every villain by himself, you know. Then, if that android somehow defeated all of the Z-Fighters, the android would either go rouge and start murdering humans for fun or help Pilaf take over the Earth. My point is, even is some villain came out of nowhere looking for him, they wouldn't just say 'fuck it, Goku's not here. Let's just go back to where we came from and not be evil anymore.' They would say, 'Shit! Goku's dead? Hell, let's just kill his friends and conquer and/or destroy the Earth.'
frieza wanted to rule the entire universe(7), cell wanted to bring fear among people, buu wanted to turn the entire universe(7) into ash and beerus wanted pudding
And behold the theme that marks Vegeta's Ascension to scouter shattering, back breaking, Pure.Unadulterated.BADASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Freeza - the tyrant Cell - the evil by humanity Buu - the ancient mystery Baby - the vengeance Omega shenron - the wrathful Beerus - the job Black - the devil masquerading god Jiren - the lame.
The song that plays when you're taking a burning hot shit a few hours after that vindaloo and 5 pints of beer and at 0:37 you glance to your right and realise there is no toilet paper.
I would say this is one of my favorite compositions of all time. It may not be classical, but by god is it absolutely amazing. The pure evil and epicness expressed within the tune are extraordinary.
@@souvikdey7594 I asked what Naruto had to do with this. I never said anything about Naruto being a good anime. Though now that you're bringing it up, Naruto is actually a great anime in my opinion. But then again it's my opinion and everyone is entitled to their opinion. You view Naruto your way and I view it my way.
And before any Dragonball fans come and attack me, I said Naruto is a great anime not anything about it being better than Dragonball. So I kindly ask that you don't twist my words. Thank you and have a good day.
+MrprikoloshaAnim8s MEANINGLESS HUH!? WHAT DO YOU KNOW OF MEANINGLESS!? GRAAHAAAHHHHH! Spend your life ruled by another!, WATCH YOUR RACE DWINDLE TO A HAND FULL, AND THEN...TELL ME WHAT HAS MORE MEANING THAN YOUR OWN STRENGTH!, I have in me the blood of a saiyan prince! HE IS NOTHING BUT A JOKE AND YET I HAD TO SEE HIM SURPASS ME IN STRENGTH MY DESTINY THROWN TO THE WAYSIDE, He's..he's saved my life once as if i were a helpless child...He has stolen my honor...and his debts..must be paid! Ill do whatever i want D:
Anyone notice that the piano part is similar to the piano riff from the theme that plays when vegeta turns super sayian it's like you can hear the battle between babadi's magic and vegeta's pride in the music.
This is one of my favourite themes from Dragonballz just cause of how evil it is, it's the second most evil and terrifying theme, second only to "Cell Kills Man" that shit was absolutely horrifyingly dark haha
Just to clear things up and make sure the correct people get the credit they deserve, Bruce Faulconer didn't make this. It was made by Julius Dobos, a musician who worked at Faulconer's company but was left out of the credits like many others.
I dont know where in your boneheaded minds think that Goku abandons his family and friends to train in the other world, in the cell games, Goku died, in the fight with Raditz, Goku died, think before you type! And more dragon ball z!
DarkEternal6 I know you posted this 8 months ago, but Goku didn't decide do stay dead. The Dragon Balls can only revive someone once, and Goku had already been revived after dying against Raditz. Goku isn't selfish at all, if anything he's actually selfless.
TheMajinator not really by then cell saga he could be reviewed again he just chose not to be a cause he felt that he was attracting all the villains to earth thus endangering ppl.
garret432 Even tho he might have wanted to protect them by not being revived, he still couldn't be revived at all. When they wished back everyone that was killed by Cell, which includes Goku, he wasn't revived because he was already revived to fight against Nappa and Vegeta. The only way he would be able to revive was using the Namekian Dragon Balls, but since nobody knows where this New Namek planet is located, they can't wish him back.
TheMajinator no those were the ones dende created so goku could be revived by those but he refused to. Remember when they tried to have the namekian ones bring him to earth? Couldn't cause he didn't want to.
garret432 I understand what you are trying to say, but since the Dragon Balls that Dende created where forged using the same model as the one's created by Kami their powers are linked. After wishing everyone killed by Cell back they tried to use the second wish to revive Goku but Shenron simply states that since he was already revived once it would be impossible for him to grant that wish.
Yep. Either this guy is making money because he extended someone else’s song or those who own the rights to the song (probably Toei) claimed the demonetized video and turn the monetize on so they get money off from it
The power of a saiyan is limitless! Yet i can never reach your level kakarot! You always get one step ahead of me! But now we will clash! And see who truly is greater in power! Constantly you have surpassed me,me! How could a low class saiyan beat me?! the prince of all saiyans! I refuse to believe your stronger than me! I will do anything in my power to defeat you! Kakarot!
And downright, Vegeta's a man with honor, the way he tried to avenge Trunks death, and when he tried to sacrifice himself against Buu. His honour is there everywhere in the show, in every battle he fights single-handedly and is ready to bear the consquence all by himself whatever happens. Guys like Krillin and yamcha who really make him seem so low never have even a tenth of his honour or guts.
