This is why Vegeta use Galick Gun on mid-air instead of the ground; otherwise the user won't able to control it or get minor damaged.

He used it in BoG, the U6-U7 Tourney, and the ToP. He should use it more tho... Edit: And also in Broly, although it was Yellow, for some reason. Yes, I know that it was originally yellow In the DB manga, and DBS Broly is based on the DBS manga - but then why wouldn't they have made Kamehameha yellow too, like it was in the DB manga, and in some early games which mirror the manga? Why make one manga accurate when the anime has never portrayed it that way, only to leave the other anime accurate? It's a double inconsistency, and for no real reason...

How does the main villain of the arc trip and fall mid-attack, get buried, emerge from HIS OWN RUBBLE bloodied and bruised (injuries sustained by *his own attack* mind you) and come up smirking like he just proved something to Vegeta and the viewers. This is outright character assassination and the most hilarious thing I've seen all day.

Wow, not even filler was kind to Semi-Perfect Cell. After transforming. and blasting Android 16 away, what does this mighty being do? He gets shoved into the ground by Tenshinhan for a while, gets his ass kicked by Vegeta & Trunks, and here he somehow manages to get buried in the ground after firing an attack, doing more damage to himself than Vegeta. Then we get more filler later on of Gohan utterly embarrassing Cell when he reverted to this form. And yet amazingly, Semi Perfect Cell, one of the most punished and humiliated of any form of a Villain (Except for Freeza's reappearances), somehow ended up being one of only two people to kill Goku.

+Sarbaṇī Paṣtun Sorry for the late reply, but yeah. Every time Vegeta uses the Gallick Gun after his first fight with Goku is anime filler. In the Manga, Vegeta seems to make a habit of using signature attacks once and then never again- Gallick Gun, Big Bang Attack and Final Flash have been immortalised, but Toriyama only drew them once each in all 519 chapters.

This Is Just For Example Ssj Vegeta=50 Intital Semi Perfect Cell=50 Full Power Semi Perfect Cell= 100 super vegeta = 150 remeber when cell powered up he punched vegeta and made him bleed that implies that the gap between vegeta and semi perfect cell is not huge !

Actually you can. In the Namek saga Vegeta uses dozens of Galick Gun variations. The final attack which kills Zarbon is actually a Galick Gun variation. The difference is that not all variations retain the color. Only the double version does.

I think that galick gun s charging position is just the best in the whole manga , i dont know why they didnt give it as much attention as kamehameha FF and SBC , furthermore its a powerfull blaster it raised scouter vegeta s pl from 18k to 30k and that 67% more power while goku s kamehameha didnt do that well ( from 8200 to 10k without kaioken multiplier )

Thats the thing, there would be no real way. The only way its confirmed is because the creators named the energy attacks. For example: Final Burst Cannon, and Double Galick Gun. Both used against Frieza and later named what they are now by the creators during the video game releases of the attacks and information booklets.

Actually. Vegeta never fires it because Galick Gun is an aura blast. Meaning two things happen from the use: The environment shatters around the user, and the impact, even at weakest, can destroy the planet. Thus making the attack a forbidden technique. Unlike Kamehameha, Vegeta cant control the Galick Gun when used in the classic form. Hence the variations.
