The way the show changed them to be stereotypes of reality tv shows like real housewives, jersey shore, and survivor. Imagine is Amaya saw what Nate was doing or if Oliver or Slade or Nyssa saw how Sara was acting. So much confusion.

This TV reality show from Hell, really altered Sara's personality. What it's done is make her more Jersey Shore, rather than a woman who survived the shores of Lian Yu.

Season 1 took itself way too seriously to a point of being edgy and boring Season 4 has the opposite issue S2, 3, 5, 6 and 7 are where it's at

I actually think s1 had several cringe and cheesy moments, but unlike now it took itself seriously, which is why it didn't work for me. Now, yes, the show is a joke, but it knows that it is and that's exactly what it's trying to be, so it's a blast to watch (imo, but it's just up to personal preference).
