If he's consistent & constantly creating new ways to deliver his material to the people he'll be here for a very long time I can tell he's Just a calm guy he's not trying to be anything he's not he's authentic 💯💢👊🏽
This is hard if Stormzy were to spray the same lyrics this would have a mill views, but lemme not compare the two. This Rich guy has his own thing going on. Only a matter of time. Keep pushing
Jj lool my g that is a basic lyric, ngl it sounds quite good but basic none the less. He has a few quotables and bars I was like hmm ok but nothing special. '20 years old with a phone full of 16's' it's quite funny as it could be interpreted as 16 year old girls not a 16 bar verse haha not sure if that was the intention though. 'I'm rolling in the deep and I ain't 21 yet' is a decent bar. All I was saying is lyrically average not that he is bad don't just see the negatives, to be average in such a competitive scene atm is a compliment he's competing with the majority but I felt to step it up he'll need to connect with the listener bring better bars you know
I just kicked the door off the hinges then I walked into the kitchen got me some biscuits you know just minding my businessLove dat lol just narrating his morning. Shoutout Stormzy for blasting this on the #MERKY show last night big tune
You got a sick flow but lyrically average. I personally don't feel there's anything to connect on an emotional level, barely relate to your bars or have to think about them. I've listened to a couple of your tracks and flow wise you got something and I can see potential but you need to come harder make me catch new bars every time I listen. I'll stop my opinion here before you think im hating, keep up the work though you doing things still.
+xDaZedx112 feel what you're saying but I feel he's got an emotive level, to me he's saying he's sick of all these artists doing the same shit sounding the same etc. And he an only get better but the flow and the beat are sick for real
+Moorpheus Grimes Just because stormz posted it doesn't change what I said. I understand what you're saying and agree he is doing just as good as the rest but if you swim with the shoal there's only so far you can get.
Rah, I play this song on repeat because of how much I relate to the lyrics. It's mad how subjective music is. The line, "Then I walked into the kitchen, got me some biscuits, you know just minding my business, then I noticed you all got the same bars, you got the same flows." That resonates with day to day life; so often you'll be in a new situation that you've always want to be a part of then you realise how unoriginal the people are and how concerned they are with what others in the circle think of them. This whole song is calling out people who don't have the balls to be themselves, and I'm sure loads of people connect with that on an emotional level.
