Another Great Review. Some things to know.. Sgt. Rock is almost ALWAYS depicted wearing his helmet as any good soldier should do, he looks best that way. If you repaint hair, his hair is supposed to be “auburn” which is a mix of reddish & medium brown. As for his U.S. Army combat field uniform, it is supposed to be Olive Drab Green & his shirt seems accurate but during action guess he ripped off the sleeves..show off ;) The pants look kinda modern but there were WW-2 paratroopers that had similar pants with extra knee protection. Boots look close to paratroopers also. This Sgt. absolutely jumps from planes so it’s all good to go! Best fit for firearms is a Thompson Machine Gun / Tommy Gun & a .45 1911 pistol. Those can be found for action figures. 🫡
Really? I´d say Ambush Bug takes the cake. I think that if we´re DC fans we´ve encountered Rock at some point. Either in comics but more so in animation. Ambush Bug? Last time he was in comics was in the last pages of The New 52 comics. And that´s only if got your comics in America. As for animation just once in the last episode of THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD.
@@justicierodelaliga I guess that depends on how you look at it. 300 superheroes vs one Soldier. In my book is more of an odd ball than any other. Is like a cracker on a box of mixed cookies.
I like the look of him and, overall, I think he is a pretty solid figure. As an enlisted person, I don't mind the inaccuracies 😂. If I wanted authentic, I wouldn't be collecting Mcfarlane 😂😂😂
GET THOSE COMMUNIST BANG BANGS OUT OF HIS HANDS... HE'S AN AMERICAN SOLDIER!😂 M16, UZI, OR 1911s are the only acceptable fire arms... or pretty much anything from the first munitions pack except the AK-47!:) This figure feels like captain carrot 2.0 that nobody asked for or even really knew about until the figure was announced, not a bad figure just thought the excitement for this guy was weird!
Sgt. Rock is no fool, he knows the incredible reliability & durability of the AK-47. Respect that rifle. Rock is originally from the WW2 era & I’d like to see him with a Tommy Gun with both stick & drum magazines. If he was in the Vietnam conflict he would likely pick up an AK-47. Many American soldiers did that due to how effective a rifle it is. At the time the M-16 platform wasn’t as dialed in as it is today. It was prone to jam due to dirt & use, the AK-47 was the opposite. AK’s would fire & fire despite the grime & usage.
@@benjerison7074 Yes sir. One can purchase a variety of AK’s from various manufacturers & over 20 countries make them with China making the most. By no means does that mean a Chinese made AK-47 is a piece of junk. That rifle is so well designed most are still competent weapons no matter where it’s made BUT buyer beware ;)
Bones, dud, you´re JACKED! Of course one can tell just by looking at you but with the thumbnail one can really see how massive you are! I never cared for Rock. The figure is nice. Still, the Platinum is incredible. If I had the money and was invested I´d get one.
@@bonesandthenecrozoo I´ve never liked Green Army Men. But I do like the idea of it. Always found it very interesting and its history. And the fact that McFarlane went this round is extremely clever. Honest, if figures weren´t expensive as they are, and I didn´t have my own wish list...I´d get one. More so that Rock! ...if, by any chances, I find it extremely cheap I´d get him in the future. You, though, should make a video about it. ...I think it´d fit your collection as the tough guy you look to be.
