DC teamed up with Toyota to create the Ultimate Motocross Truck and asked West Coast Customs to lead the build. Take a behind the scenes look at how West Coast Customs turned a Toyota Tundra into the ultimate vehicle for DC and its motocross athletes. The truck build was recently featured on an episode "Inside West Coast Customs" that aired on Discovery's Velocity Channel.

I saw this episode on TV. It's a nice truck. I would have prefered they did up a Ford Raptor with Ken Block graphics. I don't care if it's for motorcross, his graphics are tight!

Got to show this video to my brother in law Garnett Dunn., I know he will love it. He used to be one of the best drivers in this area, This guy can really make that car drift. pretty. I was wonder what he would do next all the time it was on. Super good..

That air compressor & winch are very handy to have, and they did a great job with that build! I have to agree with the Dodge guy above me. I do prefer a diesel as well. My 2000 7.3 F350 Supercab 4x4 longbed gets 23 mpg consistently on the highway with no modifications, and runs 35" tires with no lift. I love the roof rack on that truck as well. I also have a 2 door Tahoe 4x4 with a factory roof rack. It has 205,000 miles on it and I have yet to use the roof rack, but I plan on using it!

I think Ken Block probablly has the same question. "What was ultimate about this truck?", No powertrain overhaul. This is a budget build.

As someone who uses a pickup truck to haul dirt bikes, everything is useful except the winch and the "multi media system". I like to use the back seat of the truck.

This is for tmk5522 tundra is a great truck and the heart of the chevy diesel is from japon!!! Check it out. Being american is having the freedom to drive what ever you want. This response is from a proud american.

Fun fact for you. More than 60% parts on Ford, Dodge and Chevys are out of Mexico and Canada. Toyota Tundra Was Designed, Engineered and Built in Texas. With an 80% parts list made in America.

@MrTcamp42. Yeah people have said that Toyota shouldn't build a truck because more than SOME of their cars as you stated are better than the comperition and so are the trucks. I'm glad they chose the Tundra. Not choosing it Would have been their first mistake.

@Owen: I have a 2010 6.2L Raptor with 411 HP and 434 pounds feet of torque. It is naturally aspirated and it will snap your neck. lol Awesome machine... I'm third generation Ford man, so I am a bit biased... but I think it is BY FAR the best truck ever on the market. DC could make a monster that would make Hennesse look like a stock truck.

Until you build on a Ford Raptor 6.2L Boss... you can't say you built the Ultimate offroad/MotoCross truck. A basically stock Raptor took third place in the BaJa 1,000. I would LOVE to see what Block and DC Shoes could do with it.

KB knew what they were building. This is a SX pit pass billboard for DC. It'll be in the pits or on the floor at all the supercross races this season and probably never really get driven. There will never be a dirty bike in it's bed and the new car smell will probably not go away for two years. Show truck. Cool show truck, but show truck none the less.

dalegrible1995 you do know that 5.7 dont mean power right, for instance a 1980 dodge 5.7 (LA360) is pretty wimpy when compared to a 2000 dodge 5.7 (Magnum360) which has nothing at all to do with being fuel injected or not, the shape of the pistons, the size of the valves and ports in the heads make the biggest difference between the two. basicly what im saying is there are major differences in toyota and dodge, as far as internal engine designs go, also on a side note a lot of the felt power in the truck its self could be due to the choice of gearing as well, no so much the motor. there are a lot of factors here to think about, not just the liter displacement
