DC to DC synchronous and non-synchronous boost using ATmega328P

This video explains the experiment comparing the performance of synchronous and non-synchronous DC-DC boost converters.
Only one circuit is used for these two modes, changing the mode is done in the coding only.
By setting the code in the timer initialization section, this dc-dc boost converter can be operated as synchronous or non-synchronous without the need to change the circuit.
Synchronous Dc-Dc Boost Converter provides a higher efficiency value than non-synchronous.

I'm a little busy so I don't have time to try new things. It still takes quite a long time for me to be able to play at a fairly high voltage on a transformerless inverter system.

Pak Yopie, mau tanya apa semua jenis chip PWM misalnya uc384x, tl494, SG3525 dan chip pwm lainnya jika diberikan tegangan supply kosisten pada VCC pin misalnya 12V sd 15V ( terlepas dari fitur yg ada apa chip itu sendiri seperti Shutdown/SD, current sensor , maks duty-cycle, dll, itu bisa dijadikan sebagai BUCK dan bisa dijadikan sebagai Boost converter kah? karena sebagian supplier chip memposting chip pwm nya untuk Boost dc sendiri dan untuk Buck dc ada chip sendiri, terima kasih semoga pak Yopie dan sekeluarga selalu diberikan Sehat dan banyak rejekkinya. Sepertinya memang sendiri sendiri, kemungkinan karena output pwm didedikasikan untuk high-side mosfet pada buck dan low-side untuk boost

beberapa kali saya coba buat rangkaian nya, mosfet saya short terus, setelah di cek osiloskop, hanya sisi bawah (mosfet ke ground) dari half bridge yg ada sinyal sinus nya, untuk sisi atas sinyal control nya high terus, apa memang begitu ya?
