DC Universe Online - Gadgets Guide - Controller & DPS

I'll be the first to say "best" is subjective. Use what you like and what works for you. This video is more just about showing what the abilities do, and what I'd personally use.

Correct. There are stealth abilities so you can set a custom loadout for when you're stealthed but they don't have their own tree.

On top of what DCUOPoe said. if you are will to put down alittle money (5 or more dollars in one perchase) you have a permanent upgrade to premium. Well worth it in my eyes. There is a list on the DCUO website of account levels and their access.

Omg this video is fucking amazing, I totally recommend to ANY gadgets user. When you say there will be more videos like these do u mean different powers? Different Control Powers? or just a lot of videos on gadgets?

When I DPS I like clipping NN into intimidation. I also use defibrillator in my DPS loadout, it gives you the damage buff, and helps out your controllers, and clip any animation. I'm a controller though 99% of the time though.

Offenders =). This guide is for people maybe leveling as gadgets or are fresh 30's. Anything beyond that is kind of up to self-discovery.

The old powers are recycled effects and animations from the normal monsters in the game. The new stuff is unique to the class. I prefer the new stuff but I definitely made this video at the wrong time because a month after they updated the power-set. Derps to me.

I'm biased. I've been playing sorcery since beta so I'd have to say my favorite power-set is that.

That's something that just comes from attacking the sparring targets.

awh man please upload a nature healing vid, i am sorcery atm and followed your video for it and i still use that loadout. if you managed to get a nature vid up that would be greatly apreciated bacause i am curious to try it out.

And by that I mean give it a shot, why not. You'll probably learn more from the experience leveling to 30 than you would my guide anyway.

how come is gadegts prec bassed? all buffs are might bassed , cryo field and intimidation are might bassed , only prec atack i use on my gadgets is spin chop from one handed that's all ^^

not really , all powers play dps role , and gadgets is one of the best if not the best dps class

Seems like sleep dart might be good in PvP. My gadgets character is only level 10 though so I haven't gotten to it.

this whole video makes no sense. and here's why. you have a loadout for controller but you're trying to deal damage. what? pistols are "ok" for controller, though hand blasters are way better (high combo = high power recover) and whenever you troll, you just have to make sure your combo are high and your status are up. you can scrap any other dps wannabe dreams of yours while in troll stance. if you REALLY want to deal damage using gadget as power, you have to switch on a dps spec and use interactions. my gadget char is top dps because i do so.

Lol OMG you wont believe this in duel I used static field to my enemy and pick them and threw them further away .so they were out of duel ring after 3 secs I won every matches.but u need to stun them first before use static firld.
