@@nadzach I'm a minimalist and wear very similar clothes 365 days a year. I own 6 high quality, made in the USA tops, and wear the same warm jacket everyday, alternating between 2 different scarves. It's just clothes, nothing more.

I for one love living in DC. It was pretty bleak while there was a snow and ice storm will give you that. But on a normal day there are tons of people walking around and it is lively considering social distancing requirements. I have never seen so many people run outside until I moved here! So much outdoor activity.

I wondered a similar thing when I saw the fence is going up in March. It is so nice to see them start to come down. I live five blocks from the White House so it’s really nice to be able to walk around again.

I’ve lived here my whole life, I have a picture of me going into the White House in Spring of 2001 for the Easter egg roll, A picture of myself next to the black fence on the south lawn while Obama was president, and a picture of myself next to the fence that Trump put up this spring. Many DC residents are sad that our lives are being so negatively affected by this. That’s why it’s so nice to see the fencing coming down.
@Green Eyed Okie 13 I didn't say that I love the city. But I will say that I've never loved learning history as much as I do today. I especially love my front row seat! I've also been studying the monuments and buildings and the history behind them, as I've watched and walked along with (sometimes live) virtual tours with the most wonderful people that I've grown to love like friends. Most of all, I love the Lord. And when you love the Lord, you love learning the truth.

It is a boarder around a foreign territory. 10 sq miles of DC Isn’t a state, territory but rather a foreign district, traitorous country. So it is a boarder more so than the one across Mexico. Since traitorous dealings go on within those walls, it’s being walled in to protect us.
