I was here at TI, but I only had the outdoor arena to watch...but someone literally threw away their pass into the arena after this game...guess who watched the final inside :)
This game is perhaps the most perfect display of rat dota. EG dominated every battle, but DC won the war. Not just in these highlighted clips, but in how they stalled the game out perfectly after such a disastrous start. Nothing you make a clip out of, but full of dozens of amazing strategic plays. Dota truly is a game about strategy moreso than brawling
it used to be. split pushing and farming was so much more a thing because you couldn't tp to outposts, you didn't even have a dedicated tp slot so you had to make the choice whether it's worth it to carry one. nowadays you just 5man because you're gonna get caught moving alone, it makes the game extremely predictable and boring inbetween fights.

1:34 is what made the game. There prob was some miscommunication between PPD and Fear. After being X marked and ultied by Kunkka, Fear instead chose to go for the sunder on his own teammate rather than PPD graving him.Then, w33 blinks him and burst him down again. Then Fear gets graved finally but he has no sunder to turn the fight and Slark chases him down
I'm genuinely really excited for DC, I've never really supported them but I definitely didn't expect them to make it this far. Huge props to them and best of luck to them in the Grand Finals.
as a hardcore dota fan, i've always want to see veteran players get rewarded for their loyalty and dedication to the game. like how fear won a TI. i know it's a strategy based game but come on, being kicked from your team and going this far on the biggest tournament it's really something and it hits you down to the feels for being happy for misery and his crew. giff old man misery an aegis ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ

Its crazy to think that a team that didnt exist 2 hours before the signup deadline made it into the grand finals. DC are a great inspiration to all the Dota 2 kids who dream of becoming pro.
can we take a moment and look at how amazing saksa was this match, defending the throne with only 4 against 5 to give MOO the window to push was only made possible by the illusions made by SD
really love this dc 2016 team the team that don't have captain and player don't want to be captain and make to the final ( they call this team can't make to top8 now they make to final )
Sumail woke up Kunkka and SD with the fire spirit burn at 6:16 when the Earth Splitter would have killed them both. If Kunkka dies right away there, Universe doesn't waste Ravage at 6:21. Sumail should have saved the split in general until after his buyback. Did absolutely nothing with it when he used it, and got destroyed once buying back.
DC showed the best strategy, they dominated on a mental level EG. Because of the awesome split push by moo and resolution eg was forced to take fights into dc base. An awesome game with an exceptional ending. Hope Dc wins this TI.
Fear also made a critical mistake that he didn't buy MKB to push mid lane and throne, he just had 5 items. It was enough time to take MKB and sure to kill slark at throne.
this game is no lie in the top 5 all time epic games list but idk i thought he ehome vs eg series during the ti6 main event was a bit more epic, i love dota 2
Rat doto games are the best games to watch, just because it almost everytime it ends up on a base race or something similar. If this were an alliance game a lot of people would be super mad.
