Honestly loving the green arrow respect here. He doesn’t get enough credit for how smart he is, but here’s living proof that he can be rather ingenuitive when needed
They removed that function ages ago. Kyle needed to be able to destroy Parallax with or without Hal's body so they removed that function from all the new rings. Things didn't turn out that way but still. Once Hal got revived from his Spectre duties, he had a ring that could kill.
Even if it was still canon, it still possible to kill if your will is strong enough to override the ring programming anyway and considering who we are talking about here he should have plenty of willpower to spare
With how canonically powerful he is, for any of these hypotheticals to kick off properly, the Flash needs to be put of the picture or else he's just gonna be the solution to every apocalyptic scenario.

Not really. Damien was raised by the League of Assassins. He's had bloodlust from his first day of training. Then went to Gotham and learned to control that bloodlust. Now he has bloodlust of a different variety. But he can still control it because of what Bruce taught him. Justice, not vengeance.
This comic is great but I’m pretty sure we already have a comic showing that superman can’t get bitten by a vampire because he literally is a being that gets powered by the sun 🤷🏻♂️
Grant Morrison's JLA run had him bit by a vampire without even weakening him first and he immediately turned cuz magic. They go back and forth on this a lot by continuity.

Superman not using x-ray vision to see who has vampire fangs and who doesn't is kind of dumb. You know, the Green Lantern ring's "no lethal force" rule seems to just sometimes not happen.
He probably got overpowered. He IS still a human. And as far as we can see, most infected people are metahumans. Only thing holding the good guys back was morality, now that they broke that barrier?... Shiiiiiiiid good luck to all them goons or everyone else that wasn't turned.
it was pretty un-batman of Batman to leave Superman there (not because they’re friends but because the risk of Superman becoming a vampire would be a huge blow for the humans against the vampires)
you cant really blame him though, he was pretty banged up and getting overwhelmed so it was probably what he was going to do but given the situation he had no time to do it.

I’m about a third of the way through this vid and hearing that Superman, a literal god of ultraviolet energy(the sun) was turned into a vampire should not be canonical possible. Just like how it’s impossible to turn the hulk into a vampire against his will.

The ring has fail safe for it and should have abandoned him and the lantern Corp would have immediately known he's dead. Plus Martian man hunter not reading minds, superman not using his xray vision to see the fangs or his super hearing him not hearing heartbeats

Wasn't there a story where Superman fought Dracula? Didn't dracula's mouth burn when he tried to bite Superman because his powers are literally powered by the sun? I could be wrong but I thought that was a comic looking back in the day.
Every graphic novel author takes liberties to “set the stage” for their story, so there really is no right or wrong as far as what heroes/villains abilities and weaknesses are.

Agreed but for being aware of Batman's check in advance, well Dick knows Bruce would have prepared tests to check if they weren't turned. If someone knows Bruce that one is Dick
The first half of this story with all the build up to the Nightwing reveal and the begining of the war was so good it was excellent, but the second half felt so off and all that build up felt wasted.
Green Lantern becoming a vampire is so contradictory. His ring should reject him in the moment of his transformation or he should have a will strong enough to reject the vampire master. LOL
Man, all these turns are dumb. The way flash gets captured when he isn't supposed to be containable. Wonder woman is a God she isn't supposed to be vulnerable to someone's stare. Also, my problem with her is she has no power or all the power depending on the comic. Batman knows people are vamps and doesn't have a plan for this. Ugh.

Wow bats done screwed up weakening supes to the vampires. Granted he didn't know for sure he wasn't already turned, but he should've had an idea that a vampire wouldn't be able to pierce supes skin with a bite. Also how were they able to enter the bat cave? You have to invite a vampire into your domain.
one thing I do not get... How is clark gonna be a problem? He needs the sun to power up, but can't use the sun since its just gonna roast him, or at the very least, roast what makes him a vampire.

This story started out good, but it quickly devolved into absurdity and stupidity given Batman's actions. During the confrontation in the Batcave Batman could have ended it just by asking Superman to use his X-ray vision and scan everyone's body. He would quickly determine who was a vampire just by seeing whose heart was not beating. Instead, he destroys the three best heroes who were immune from being taken over and could have helped him: He kills Cyborg, weakens Superman so he could be assimilated and banishes Manhunter. What an idiot. I gave up on the series after that. I know it's a fantasy story, but this situation was just too far-fetched to be believable.
@noahstorm7568 every version of Dick I've ever seen never wanted to be batman. He's honestly just terribly written in this story. They did it simply because of the shock factor. That's bad writing.
If Superman is somehow able to be turned by a Vampire (even though that completely goes against what we’re told about how Vampirism works with solar charged Kryptonians) then Superman should be COMPLETELY depowered and only have his Vampiric abilities, the plot hole here is kinda really big 😂
I really enjoyed this comic but to be honest the writer made some really questionable decisions but hey at least it was a good read despite it's problems which is great!
The whole JL fight is so forced. Batman and GA could have easily explained to Superman. The whole secrecy thing makes no sense as even if they were all vampires EVERYONE would have known.

What happens next? Is this it. I’ve tried to research it on my own but the info is fragmented and convoluted at best. I now know there is “All out war” and “World War V”. You are my #1 resource for info on these great series. Please help your audience members who are at my level know how to continue.🤘🏻
The ending hurts my brain. Why tf would Babs choose to become a vampire and not just die? Why didn't she listen to Harley and kill Dick? I don't really see an issues with who was infected, this is an alternate earth after all, maybe it was just possible.
