I actually really like watching Alex play with friends and constantly restrain himself from being an alpha gamer. As the owner of our MZ game, I feel you😂 that being said, watching people make bizarre choices leads to some genuinely exciting and interesting games
@@BoardGameCoI get it. We’ve had some chaotic times playing through Heroes Resistance and Undead or Alive. My Marvel Zombies KS should be here Monday, that should hold us over till this comes out in 2 years
Just watched this in prep for the Kickstarter shipping this spring, and I had one question - you said that if you open four crates, it stops the spawning, but since that fourth crate was actually a Zombie Hero, doesn't that mean the spawning would have continued until you opened a crate that was just a crate?
"Open a crate" is an action you do (the action is just taking the token). The card drawn, in this case the zombie hero, is the result of the action. The action was still properly taken.
Alex kicks this off by risking the wrath of DC fans by calling the green arrow green lantern and finding "lewis lane". Had me imagining Clark calling her Lewis followed by one of the very few instances where supes is afraid for his life :D And right away, superman comes in to get 'em
I used to make fun of people in horror movies always going off by themselves. "Why do they keep sacrificing themselves? They wouldn't do that!" But, now I see that it's a genetic impulse in most human beings.
The thing I always have to remember when watching horror movies, is that I know that they are in a horror movie... They think they're just having a regular day
@@BoardGameCo That thing when they start disappearing, one by one, and the remaining ones STILL think it's a good idea that they split up, or go off by themselves to get something done. : O But, I see this behavior often enough, like in gaming, I think that is really what most people would/will do.
Always fun watching these playthroughs, though I wanted to scream each time catwoman wasn't moved :S I think she would have ended up in Lex's space, but it all worked out in the end (good catch). Perry White should have totally been eliminated by Superman though, he would have been revealed after Supes spawned, he'd have had line of sight only to Perry, so he should have moved and attacked, instead of going out into the street.
I'd have to watch the video fully to know the part you're referring to, but my guess is you're looking at a mistake. I'm sure you can figure that out yourself.
I was wondering that too. After all the walkers spawned in to the same zone as Superman & Lex has to attack, wouldn't he have to target the walkers first? Unless Lex can also ignore priority, but I thought only Green Arrow could?

Just had a fun playthrough using the Dark Knights Metal characters with the PnP cards on Heroes Resistance while I wait for my MZ KS to show up. @@BoardGameCo
