It is heart warming to hear of the huge popularity of the Halloween event in DL. That would be a great place to enjoy the fun of Halloween with much better weather than Florida heat. My DVC guide reached out to remind me that i will be on the first of the list to hear about the release of the new Poly contracts but also that there is NO news and NO hints about the sale of Island Tower.
Omg yeah weather for Disneyland in general just seems way more pleasant, well at least for me--a person who hates being overly hot hahaha. re: No news about IT, thanks for sharing! Unsurprising but ugh, I am impatient lol!
Hi Jacqueline-good to hear things are going well for the channel. I have not been able to see much on the channel lately. I’ve been traveling for some work for my union and dealing with some health issues. I’ll try to catch up on your recent videos. @@PixieDustPhD Update-I swapped out Flying Fish for Topolino’s Terrace. There were lots of slots. I’ve never been able to get into Topolino’s. I’m so excited! Two weeks to go! Summer is going fast!
I'm a DL local and really do not get the hype for Oogie Boogie. It is fun, but I think MNSSHP offers a lot more value for money with more entertainment offerings. That being said, the rare villain characters and the Villains Grove area (they take over Redwood Creek Challenge Trail) are very different than anything offered at WDW. It definitely appeals more to the "Disney Adult" than MNSSHP. DCA is also smaller, so lower capacity overall is a factor.
Oh interesting! Thanks so much for sharing your perspective. Lower capacity definitely seems like a huge bonus, but yeah it must be a confluence of the factors you've mentioned driving the wild ticket sales! It's just hard for me to fathom hahah
