I love how Mona has a new vibe/wig every episode, it really adds to the suspense of the episode, for me. Like her energy isn’t always 100% and I love that about her🖤
Thank you Mona for giving this young man a safe place to actually ask questions and learn and understand concepts and life from an opened palmed and compassionate place. I really appreciate even in the jokes and bs and just fun shit, you all never shy away from genuine clarity and transparency on life’s real issues. Thank you mommas!
Thank you Mona for touching on these subjects. Being black and queer we need these conversations! We can all coexist respecting each others boundaries 🖤🖤
I don’t think people realize how many people are on the sexuality spectrum. I have a friend who came out as bi and to this day I’ve never seen him holla at a man or be dealing with a man. It’s always been women and I know he loves women just behind closed doors he gets with men sometimes. What does that have to do with me? Idc that doesn’t change anything we talk about either bc he really still likes women. It’s more common than people think.
I forgot who said it but the quote was “I ratter be feared than loved by millions.” I think his point was you never know what someone that loves you will do, however you can believe what people won’t do out of fear. Someone that loves you might take the fall but their fear will ultimately help them decide their choice.
phelps really a smart guy , even the way he talked about the gay situation, as a girl with gay friends I really respect it , I always found str8 men who get bent out of shape around gay dudes strange , like sir what's got u sweating lol , like sir he not even looking over here
I’m surprised he spoke on this topic. Usually when the lgbt stuff is brought up he goes mute or Mona tells him not to say anything. I’m assuming he matured and can speak on certain topics now
Great episode! I live in Dover didn't know this podcase existed, I will definitely give it a watch and listen to support a young Man doing something positive. As usual Mona and Phelps have me laughing until tears come.
Don’t nobody owe you no explanation on what they do with they life! That be straight men issue. A MAN shouldn’t be worried about what another MAN is doing behind closed doors.
1:07:42- It's BOTH. Some swear off intercourse and some OD with it. Both are extreme reactions with no sense of balance due to the trauma caused. You can expect one end of the spectrum or the other to occur after someone survives being SAed. It's very difficult for them to go back to normal afterward. 💔
@@candacelemons3510 YESSSSS, IT REALLY WAS. HE IS SO TALENTED AND RAW! IT'S GIVING HOW EMINEM WAS IN THE 90'S AND EARLY 2000's... GREAT WORD PLAY, WITH MOVIE LIKE VIDEO!!!
1:08 is when it became a podcast 🎉to answer the young gentleman’s question. It is called a disassociative disorder. We also hear this with entertainers that they may or may not have had some form of xx…. abuse, however, dancing takes the control back per se, especially depending on the type of club that you entertain …. How … you are a full control of your body and you can choose what or what not to do when you want to and when you don’t and just as it was said earlier, we have designed a different personality, disassociate disassociative disorder, good question hope to see you again. #youneedanolderwomanphelps
This is the craziest thing to say, but some Black people make me feel whitewashed. The mindset is so far back. It’s wild. I mean that’s what they say when I’m home.
50:40 😂😂😂 has soo many lol parts. Between KP with the what? Phelps laughing and Mona with the “next time I see him ima whoop his mf ass and he know that”
"I invited two black guys and I gave them chicken" sent me to the damn moon! but this really how it is. the "I have a gay family member/friend" isn't needed all the time.
