You've got me the closest to playing this in vr with MQ3 by far so thankyou I really appreciate your effort and willingness to share how but there's something I'm not doing correctly and it's killing me! Once I get into the game itself bang my hands are gone and I'm back to the controllers again.this is my process 1open Meta app on pc and confirm headset connected via cable and developer on in beta then put headset on 2.in headset I open settings and check all handtracking settings are on and then put controllers down and confirm handtracking working 3.using finger pinch I open link to pc then once desktop opens I can see hands but they are on floor showing as hands but I then need to pick controllers up to use them as hands then I click on desktop .open steam then steam vr then it goes to steam vr home and I have these weird looking hands that are big and puffy appear but I still need controllers to use click function as pinch does not work .5.open DCS and gone???no more hand tracking even with enable hands as controllers in dcs vr setting already enabled???? HELP PLEASE!!!!@!

A1m05s, how did you get "hands" to appear in the VR options? I only see "controllers". I'm using the Quest3, latest DCS version, multi-thread, and the meta quest link app running in the background. I connect the headset to the PC with the link cable. Thanks!

If I may, how have you configured your VR to display as one full screen on your computer in order to record it? Mine seems to only display as though I am looking through two binocular lenses. Thank you.
The yellow cursor is Multi Threading (MT) version only. If you play stable then it's a black cursor. Stable will be discontinue with support soon anyways. Plus MT has rotor wash on helicopters and smoother VR performance for many. Hope that helps 👍🏼
@@mikehunt9993 Of course, go to your install directory, continue to bin-mt and find the dcs icon, it will be launch.exe, sent a shortcut of that to your PC and start launching using that... forever lol, new vr experience. Example path: D:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin-mt\DCS.exe
how long have you own the quest 3 and i would like to ask has the hand tracking got any better beacause people have been saying that the tracking is janky 8 months ago
@@daviddiffaccount4922 I use an external hand tracking software for DCS, with the early July Q3 update hand tracking and pass through is spot on. Major improvements. I have a video on my channel if you want to see that program.
@@daviddiffaccount4922 I’ve owned since january, so about 6 months now. The quest 3 hand tracking is quite good when you’re in a brightly lit environment. In Meta menus, standalone apps and games it works really well. But in DCS, I think it’s still as janky as it was 6 months ago. Probably lacking a “filter” or smth like that.
