Great video!! would love more viggen content, learning it myself, and this is motivating me to fly better. Why do you have the radar in A2 (B-Scope?) mode? does it allow you to detect Air targets?
Nice flying :) One question. I am having problem using the RB-75 with boresight locking targets. Before it was easy to put your boresight on the target and lock with "tv-button"...now I never get it to lock any target. Have they changed something with the RB-75? I saw that you were slewing the sight and then locked...and that works for me too, but somethimes it is easier to just point your nose and lock.
Thank you! The best way I've found is too use the auto pilot att hold line the boresight up then slew, that video was a bad example you'd want to do it from further away
They changed the RB75s in Dec. The changelog said this: NEW: Standard AGM-65 Maverick seeker implemented - Able to lock buildings and map structures. - Fixed AGM-65’s being unusable after jettison then Re-Arm. - Display polarity is now correctly calculated. - Default EP-13 sight brightness and contrast adjusted for better visibility - Default EP-13 brightness at night or dusk adjusted to avoid melting eyes. It's harder to boresight with the mavs now; they don't fire in low light conditions like they used to; if fired too close together, they will blow each other up (they did that before but the explosion radius seems to be greater now). I loved using them before that update but I have been training with them again and just have to get used to the way they are now.
I love flying the Viggen but it frustrates the hell out me trying to work the weapons systems and navigation with the way points. I just don't understand that plane
