Northrop-Grumman discovered that inorder to recover from a flat spin in the F-14, up elevator is required to redirect airflow over the vertical stabilizers and regain yaw stability/rudder authority.
I am a retired F-14 A/B/D Aviation Electrician and I had a beautiful 20 year career working on Tomcats @VX-4 Pt. Mugu Ca, and Naval Waepons test Squadron Pt. Mugu, VF-24 Fighting Renegades @Miramar and VF-211 Fighting checkmate. Tomcats forever ♥️. A very labor intensive Aircraft.
Music & Video, two sides of a very juicy and tasty Tomcat sandwich! However I realized that you use cockpit camera forward and backward in order to zoom in or zoom out which results in cockpit proportion distortion. I reckommend using the fuctions zoom in slow and zoom out slow for much better graphical results in game as well as for future videos. Cheers*
Thanks! Yes that’s a great idea. I use a dial on my throttle to zoom in and out quickly. I will use that for multiplayer and will try use the zoom in and out function for my recordings! Normally I would be smoother on the replays but as the tomcat replays are very bugged I had to record all the shots as they unfolded. So the zoom in and out slow would be a great idea. Thanks!
@@LAWest Buddy, I guess I didn't make my point clear, excuse me. I was not only talking about zooming in and out SLOWLY, but most of all about the two DIFFERENT WAYS of zooming in and out, namely: a) cockpit camera and b) regular zoom (slow) Try experimenting with those. Looking forward to new releases. Cheers*
Hey I created an F-14 cinematic with Ace Combat 7 (idk how to play DCS) that is heavily inspired by this one (very similar shots, same song, tones, dialogues etc). I was wondering if you'd be okay with me uploading it? I'd be more than happy to credit you in the video and the description.
Jett Plane hi Sorry im 7 months late but tbh I wouldn’t have helped much anyway haha. You just have to look for it and then you’ll stumble across something you like, I recommend ‘really slow motion’ for their awesome music...
