It took some figuring out, when prepping this video I couldn't get it to work. Did some searching on the ED forum and found a post from Heatblur on the subject.
Fantastic video. Only thing I would point out is that you push to MIL, not afterburner during a trap, or you owe the LSO a beer and will be graded like you did a cut pass. The legacy Hornet can go burner in a bolter, but not the F14. Big no no
I couldn't tell from the video but did you have the air break out? also DLC? might explain why your velocity vector was bouncing up and down cause the auto throttle didn't have enough range cause you were too fast.
@@deephack thanks. Couldn’t tell from the cockpit view. Think you may want your air break out just like a case 1. Will possibly give you a smoother ride in. I might be wrong but I was under the impression that the air break extended is the standard for all landings in the f-14. Your video helped me get in the deck though so thanks either way.
DLC is countermeasures dispense on my control option menu. Sooooo….. IDK 🤷🏼♂️ Also it help when you guys turn on status bar at the bottom of screen when making these videos. Thanks I will keep trying.
