No, I'm not sure tbh. I use the AFCS to keep it stable in my tests when I don't need to manoeuvre. The Phantom needs both sets on hands when doing A/A vs non-cooperative targets though.

Yep, it's a little function no one will probably use, but along the aim, dot makes intercepts very easy, which should come in handy to players not interested in theory and proficiency.
@@FlyAndWire It's little things like this that let me dream of a day when we've got adequate fighter control, less than omnicient enemies and potential neutral coalitions.
I totally agree, and the omniscience of the AI will be detrimental, especially when I show intercepts without a radar lock: since the AI sees you at all basically no matter where you are, sneaking up on them as you'do in real life is almost impossible.
