As others have said...I own all of your WWII campaigns and without them the single player experience for Warbird sim pilots wouldn't be as engaging or immersive. Thanks for all of your hard work, work ethic and consideration for the community that shares your passion.
This is above and beyond, mate. It's this attention to detail, and willingness to keep your customers happy that sets you apart. As long as you keep this going, I'll always buy your campaigns, without hesitation.
You don’t know me, but the amount of happiness and joy you’ve brought me from your blue nose campaign is massive. Thanks for letting me live out a piece of history. Don’t stop! You rock
Playing your campaigns in VR are literally dreams come true. Can’t thank you enough for the hard work, so excited to try them out all over again. All clear, SWITCHES ON!
@@ReflectedSimulations could go on and on about how incredible it is, but in the end just promise all of us you’ll try it some day! First time I loaded up a Spit and actually felt her wrapped around my shoulders I legit almost cried!
Thank you for all your effort. The DCS WWII single player experience would be empty without your work. Since I own all your WWII campaigns here’s some beer money. Cheers!
You are a legend! Genuinely excited for Normandy 2.0. "Blue Nose Bastards of Bodney" is my most anticipated playthrough as I have fallen in love with the P-51 as of late. Also, Huge yes to The Channel map going North and East, that would be a pretty complete Western Front between the 2 maps
I had only one of your campaigns since I fly mostly multplayer but I just purchased The Blue Nosed Bastards because of the new version. Thank you for the update and your work.
Oh man, I really look forward to getting a gaming PC again, in about a year or so, after the mortgage is paid off. Hats off to you good sir for product support that is above and beyond.
Just wanted to let you know that I picked up one map update (Normandy), 3 Modules (P47, P51 and Spitfire) and 4 Campaigns (all from you) and loving it. My current favorite so far is the P-47D, and the Wolfpack campaign, but the other two are as iconic and wonderful as well. The quality of your previous campaigns I bought (F-14) made me take a leap of faith and dip my toes into the WWII era and loving it! Also you YT tutorials are crucial for me as these war birds are a handful to fly, yet so rewarding when you start to master these new skills. Hope this recent WWII era promotion turns out to be a success for ED and you so we see can expect some more quality stuff being added in the future. Keep up the good work.
@0:28 if the Map creators created ground targets to scale...then I was clueless the Eifel Tower was that large...I based that on the size of Reflected's Mustang... Wow....also, THANKS Reflected for all of your hard work.
Reflected truly carries the whole of DCS WW2 for me. I finished the Wolfpack campaign couple of weeks ago and now I‘m in the middle of V for Victory. Loved every second of it so far. Especially the Mossie is so fun to fly, because of its wide range of capabilities which are fully present in the campaign. I can‘t thank you enough for all the hard work you put into those missions, and how immersive they are. DCS WW2 wouldn‘t be nearly as good as it is now, without your great campaigns.
You Are a Master and You have so much Integrity I never believe any rumors. If You don't say it from your Mouth I don't listen to it. Thank You Your Work is a Joy and Beautiful.
I was holding up on the WW2 campaign since early VR because of the Shit single Thread, Shit resolution etc But now with MT, Coud, Less dumb AI & The new map 😁 I know it's a pain in the arse for the Coop part (From your video) but DAM this shit could be amazing with 2-3 friends Like the good old Il-2 Days.
Thank you so much Reflected! Jagdflieger is my favorite DCS campaign, and Mission 5 is my favorite mission of my favorite campaign, so seeing that it's getting even better is very exciting! Thank you for the work you put into these, it's really above and beyond!
THANK YOU, really. I remember that at first mention of the Normandy 2 you mentioned that there would be no changes, but thank you for the updates. You’re hard work is greatly appreciated
@@ReflectedSimulations well let me say thanks again, cuz im on the Blue Nosed Bastards campaign and its sweet. when the 2.0 comes out I might have to do it again.
Thanks for all the extra hard work keeping everything continuously up to date! WW2 DCS wouldn't be the same without your constant effort and dedication! Keep it up!
I share your hope that the 8th AAF stations in East Anglia will one day be represented, and fighter escorts can take place to select locations in Holland and Germany. It's one of the most important aspects of the air war but almost completely unrepresented in games (besides B-17 Flying Fortress from donkeys years ago). Plus I'm from Suffolk and used to go around finding the derelict stations so it's close to my heart.
Reflected, this is a phenomenal amount of work. Really appreciated! I've flown these three campaigns, and they were all some of my favorite experiences in 6 years of flying DCS. Sounds all this hard work will give future players the best possible experience, helping build our community further.
Thanks for all the hard work in keeping your campaigns updated. I'm interested to see if you'll be building new campaigns into the new Normandy map for the P-47, Mosquito, etc. in the future (maybe an FW190 D?).
Wow it still amazes me how much effort the Devs put into these maps and Campaigns. Listening to this brilliant video, is soooo humbling and has wet .my appetite for the up and coming Normandy 2.0. Thank you for all your effort.
If you ask me you are 1 of or the best campagne maker in the DCS community ever. even if you asked a small price i think anyone would pay it without question👍
So hyped! I changed PC and was gonna start the campaigns again so it could not be a better time! And for the future I'd love a p-47, P-51 or fw190 campaign more ground attack focused, that would be awesome!
Thanks a lot for the very enjoyable video and update news .. looking forward to refly your updated Campaigns, as I already have all of them 🙏 .. your's are amongst the best Campaigns available for DCS and I always purchase each new one, to support your efforts and make sure that your DCS Studio will be around for a long time, even if I'm not able to fly them right away because I haven't yet trained enough on the aircraft type. 😎
Until now I only owned The Big Show, but seeing as I splurged on warbirds when Normandy 2.0 came out, I'll pick up all your other work, people like you deserve the support
So many good news, thanks a lot Reflected, I bought the Bastards more than a year ago and still play it, I think I will do it as quickly as the map goes out!
The introduction of Normandy 2.0 heralds good times for lovers of the Second World War. It is worth turning now to the period 1941-43 when the Allied forces fought for air supremacy. And this is an impulse for more planes of this period to appear. Particularly missing is the Messerschmitt in the F or G version, the Mustang in the B/C version. Generally the current machines we have at DCS were mostly introduced around 1943-44. I'm reading about Operation Jubille right now. The Allies were dominated by Spitfire Mk Vs (the Mk IX was just entering service, and several squadrons used them in Operation Jubille), the first versions of the Mustangs (mainly low-altitude tactical reconnaissance operations). Plus Hawker Hurrican and Typhony for assault operations. The Bostons flew as light bombers and laid a smoke screen. B-17s took part in the bombing of Abbevile-Drucat airfield. The Germans then flew mainly Messerschmitts in the F version and the FW-190 in the A3 version. Plus they had some Do-217s, He-111s, and Ju-88s. It would be good to see these bombers at least as inaccessible objects (Al). It was during this period that the FW-190 had an advantage over the Spitfire. Only the introduction of the Mk. IX changed the situation. Also, we already have a map, and we need more planes.
Awesome Job! I guess it's time for me to get to work as a Blue Nose-Red Tail Bastard. 😂 Speaking of which, are there any Red Tail squadron sorties in your campaign? The 99th/332nd. If not, please consider doing something in tribute to those mighty soldiers in the future! Thank you. BTW, I'm eagerly awaiting the Viper Campaign from you and Baltic Dragon!
Thank you, thank you, thank you. You are making so much out of this sim. Just lobe your stunning emersive campaigns. The only one I dont habe is the Mustang one, but a now brainer to fly it hopefully soon. Cant wait to fly into paris there. I just love these long ralistic missions. Warbird simulation without you would be nowhere these days. Thanks again for all your effort
Thank you for the kind words! The P-51 is probably my favorite, despite it being the oldest of all warbirds. Just be careful over Paris, flak's pretty thick ;)
Thank you for all of your excellent work, extra work and attention to detail. I am fully looking forward to realistic length flights to Paris. Like you, I play for realism and the fact that I was born 70 years too late to fly in WW2. So I fly now which isn’t as fun haha. I will gladly pay the extra $10 towards the Normandy 2.0 and would gladly donate to your cause for future campaigns. I can’t wait to start V for Victory when I’m home from work in a few weeks. Thanks again!
Thanks for all of your efforts, very excited for all of these WWII developments. I’m playing in VR and with the MT patch some of the bigger campaign moments are now much more playable. Nothing quite like sitting in the Spit cockpit in VR! Is there anyway to address the default DCS American voices when giving commands or is that ED only?
Hey, Great video. I'll buy the 109 campaign once the new map launches to help you out with all of the work you've put into it. The others too if I get the bug for WW2 flying, but right now the 109 is the only plane I own though I have the Normandy and channel maps and have never flown them LOL.
As a DCS newcomer, I noticed on the DCS forums how you continually worked to update your campaigns, not just to fix bugs but to improve them. It was clear you put an enormous effort into supporting your campaigns and as a result I bought the Blue nosed, Big Show, BewareBeware and Epsom campaigns. I will also get the Mossie one once I buy the Mossie. Keep up the great work. PS can you lighten the killer flak, had to bale out over the channel (miss 2, Blue nosed) last night 😊
Cant begin to thank you enough for all your hard work. I really appreciate you updating these campaigns for free! I would love to see ED expand their WWII asset pack tho, with how badly the ai fly anyway they wouldnt have to be too indepth about it, like keeping the physics of the B17 but changing the model for other 4 engine bombers like the Lancaster, or more ground units for the other nations why have all the tanks and vehicles for the allies have to be american when the only WWII maps are in Europe? We have a Channel Map with next to no Naval units even tho was home to one of the largest Navies in the world etc etc. If it wasnt for your campaigns i dont think WWII would even be a thing in DCS anymore we have plenty of flyable warbirds which to me a second to none in their FM and overall quality but the bare minimum if that when it comes to supporting assets. I honestly think if they ramped up the amount of available ai units DCS WWII would get a massive boost! Just seems like a no brainer to me 🤷♂️
Thanks for the kind words. I'd also love to see more AI assets, it would give me more options, more variety. And hey, the PTO is coming too. Good times ahead for the DCS WWII community.
Yes i can imagine you find it more frustrating than most lol. I dont mean any of this as a dig at ED im all in. I used to dream of being able to go somewhere put on a vr helmet and fly in a simulator like this as a kid. Now i get to do it on my pc in the evenings after work like its normal. what can i say i get impatient 🤷♂️😂
Having just completed blue nose bastards, looks like I'm going back again, that's a huge amount of work for updates, top tier mate, cheers. Can we add a reflected simulation link on our steam page at all, I would also like to gift a mission of yours to someone as I own all of your dlc, but would love to show more support.
We need chateaux on the channel coast for English Spitfires to operate from pre Battle of Britain. Like the show Piece of Cake. And some bridges high enough for some flat hatting too.
Now i wanted to donate because you really deserve it, but my damn creditcard doesn't work through the system 😤 I re-entered the data but unfortunately it doesn't work. I still want to thank you for your great and constant work 🙏 Greetings from Bavaria
Superb news! Gotta finish them before update so I can replay them right away when update comes out 😁 Wonder what's gonna have op.Epsom campaign if the 2.0 and 1.0 are not compatible...
excellent. you mentioned at the end that you cant move a campaign from a map to one another, but from what i've heard, there's a similar function in the work in progress dcs web editor, which is a very useful 3rd party add on
On one hand I stay away from unofficial addons because you never know what issues they cause, but even if I could move it, then what? None of the voices would be relevant, places present, maps accurate, or triggers working…just like I explained in the video
I dont even play your campaigns, yet I have all of them. This is how much I respect this community and its creators! Yes, I have all the modules, yes Ive tried them all.
That is awesome. Buying your campaigns turned out to be a good investment. Not only are they great but your support for them really lets them shine. Btw. do you have any plans at all to maybe do something for the F-15E when it is released?
Thanks a lot for the kind words. Nah, no plans for the F-15E, too many gadgets in that cockpit, I'm more of an analog guy :) I'll leave it to the experts like Baltic Dragon and Ground Pounder Sims.
between jobs right now but I'll be picking up V for Victory the second I get paid! love your content man, have to ask though are there any plans for a mosquito campaign on Normandy 2?
Got the channel map & the mossie for your V for Victory campaign. I keep hearing different stories about the Normandy II map, will it still be 14.99 if you own the channel map? Thanks for all the excellent work and attention to detail.
