Verbal overlay would have been good Fluffer... I'm in the market for a GPU upgrade & would really like to know what difference the jump made to your framerates, either with the same settings you used with the GTX1080 or observed rates with higher settings (?) on the RTX card.
I'll do a video just for you my dude, expect it in the next couple of days. I went from the GTX 1080 to the RTX 3070 so I can give you some input and advice.
Looks like VR. Track IR is usually smoother and more fluid, while VR appears more "jaggy" to an outside viewer. The resolution looks a little weird too, which is an artifact of VR recording. I think its safe to say this GPU is good enough for VR.
3070 still not enough. Have the same and reverb g2. No play dcs at all because of dramatic low fps. May be me wrong and you know some performance trick))
@@fakel87 hmm how much ram? I'm planning on building a pc next year to also play dcs and was planning on going with ryzen 7 3600x, 16gb of GDDR4 @ 3600MHz, and rtx 3070 but hearing ur comment im having second thoughts now
@@comfychill13 16Gb too and it is not reason of a problem. Dcs not ready for VR today. Many people in youtube have 3090 and this not enough too. I think that g2 very good VR headset and it will be good in 2024 too. I try set 150% pixel density in assetto corsa competezioni and image just perfect crisp but fps around 30. I think we have too wait 40xx or 50xx nvidia series.
