this song surprised the hell out of me when I first put the menu up. There are a lot of times when I want to jump straight into a mission... but I just can't bring myself to do it.
When heard 93882 times in a row while doing stuff in the lobby, it becomes annoying. But this is just great. It could be the opening to some 'murica style movie where americans kick ass like gerard butler movies or similar ones
Being a total noob to the DCS franchise, I took a fair while in understanding how to fly this. (90% self taught with tutorials) But when I flew in a multiplayer server, prep'd and bombed a ground target. I cranked this tune on. Best damn song to play when you make that first successful sortie.
How lucky are we to fly in VR(!!!) and be able to argue about which theme song to meticulously rendered aircraft we like best! I remember Meigs Field in Flight Sim 1!!!
@@evancoveney6268 This is an example of how you can write music with a very limited pool of different notes. After all rock'n'roll comes from blues, and blues is an incredibly efficient genre, with riffs sometimes written on 2 or 3 notes. All is about rythm, and the drummer makes his job here, with those amazing breaks.
cmon guys it's a study flight sim it couldn't possibly have music that's any gHOLY SHIT [shotguns beer; headbutts hole in wall] between some of the menu tracks like this one, the Meteor album for the Tomcat, and the Rising Squall BGM by _Keiki fucking Kobayashi,_ DCS World actually has a pretty fire OST
It's in E standart E B G D 5 A 7 - 5 - 7 - 5 E 0 3 (you can bend a bit) - 0 - - - 0 - 3h5 - 5 - 5 - x - 5 - 5p3 - 3 - 3 - 0 - 3 and repeat The second part of the main riff is same, but instead of pulling off from the 5th fret of the E string to the 3rd (A to G) you hammer on (or slide to) the 7th fret (A to B)
