Jab bhi aap gaadi ko traffic mai chalaoge toh dheere dheere joh apka transmission temp h woh badh jaiga and jab woh garam ho jata h toh apko jerk feel honge…. Power drop feel hoga and maybe gaadi rokni pde… isme apki koi galti nahi h pr joh ye DCT transmission h uska ek yahi nuksan h ki bumper to bumper traffic mai ye garam ho jata h kyuki ye air cooled hota h
@@SankalpSingh6690 I humbly differ in opinion bro.. if you go to any proper driving school they would teach you to put it in neutral.. this has been taught for ages.
@@SankalpSingh6690you know Japan does this to their Japanese cars. They literally do it to keep the transmission cool. You can’t always rely the car to do everything for you. That’s stupid. You as the maintainer have to take care of the car. You can’t expect the car to change oil itself can you? Simple shit like this. Your argument is just saying “oh I expect a lot from the car companies to be smarter than that.”
@@SankalpSingh6690 also, DCT is not actually automatic transmission but 'acts' like automatic transmission. So user input at some places is absolutely necessary.
or you can take your foot off break completely, and let the car move forward, and apply break completely(avoid partial breaks). And try to avoid maintaining the same distance always as people in India have the habit to do so. This allows your transmission to cool, and you don't have to put your car in neutral.
Wet clutch nhi hai isliye ata hai problem sabse accha skoda ka hai wo wetclutch ke sath flash clean bhi deta hai bar bar saf karta hai vo gear changing ke bad
I am having iMT and using since 1.5 years I felt it is much more convenient then manual and I always wanted to keep my self engaged while driving so shifting gears is not an issue for me and it doesn't have clutch so that's also so convenient it keeps your feet free even in bumper to bumper traffic. And it is less complex than automatic gearbox as this video also shows it has it's own disadvantages so you can try imt as well
they must follow liquid cooling system but that will increase the cost of the car and that will affect the sales that is why they are using passive cooling air cooling system and that too in hot climate country.
You are supposed to put it neutral when you stop else the transmission remains engaged, damaging it. Don’t do it only when the temperature is high. Do it as often as possible.
DCT is made for high speed drives. It burns the clutches as weel as heats up since there is always an engaged clutched when it is on Drive mode. Stop and Go bumper to bumper traffic , CVT or Torque converter are better.
this a basic to drive a DCT or DSG, car should be driven the way it is, such as, if its a manual, you can't drive the clutch or else it will burn. Similar with DCT or DSG as well.
If you are an enthusiast of driving, u want to extract the performance from your car then DCT is the best option But if you just want convenience of an automatic transmission then go for an IVT or CVT , they are more reliable and fuel efficient as compared to a DCT
@@ATISHEYJAIN am not much enthusiast of driving. But I like driving. I Just want comfortable n relaxing driving in cities and highways. So ivt is best for me r not than dct. What do u say . Thanks fr ur suggestion 😁🥳
Bhai break pe laga k rakhega bumper to bumper ne toh engine heat hoga he. Neutral ya park mode pe rakhna hota h. Khud ko driving knowledge nhi h AUTOMATIC ki toh isme company ki kya galti!
Pehle toh aap comment krne se pehle dekho baat kis cheez ki hori h That is not engine heating that is DCT temperature i.e transmission temp And you have to apply brakes in bumper to bumper traffic without putting it in N or P at every halt So instead of telling me that i have no knowledge, have the patience to understand the problem
B2B mai aap tab shift tab krte ho when you have to halt but in majority times you have to drive again And yes engine and transmission are two different components So noob aap khudke liye kaho, have you driven a DCT before ?
@@ATISHEYJAIN I have Land Cruiser torque converter and seltos torque converter. Surely I know more than you about automatic transmission than you friend
You proved my point 😂 This is not a torque converter this is a DCT- Dual clutch transmission And that is way different than a torque converter That is why you were making invalid points about the same Just google the difference between the two transmissions and you will realise the mistake
Totally depends on your daily running of the car If it’s around 100km per day Then you can definitely go for the diesel variant if you live in Delhi NCR (10 year diesel car life) But if you want the performance then go for the 1.4tgdi (petrol)
