Can't wait for a water centered Ally. (Note-an ACTUAL water specific ally before anyone replies. Emperor Aquaman does NOT count unless there is a real Aquaman Ally coming with the summer event that i just ain't aware of. But if not. then don't say "we already have Aquaman" Because he again is NOT catered exclusively to water powers) Now...that all said... A true water Ally would be nice and i genuinely hope it makes water a lot stronger as i have barely made my own water dps main hella strong. But majority of that strength is from Quislet, Heatvision and Amulet. Heck. I run DM Batman as my combat ally purely because i want to assist the group as a whole more than just make myself do more damage. So if a similar effect would be on the true water Ally, I'd be even more excited for it just cause again. I'm a dps who values teamwork over the final score.
It still baffles me these devs can't come up with original ideas and new abilities to give us 🤔😔🙄 if they actually play it they can easily come with new stuff and not rip off artifact powers lol.
I will say nature has been a extremely high and low roller coaster to main for the past three weeks. In TTE if you time it correctly even in the first boss fight you can maintain your dots through the fight transitions. Nature really shines on the final boss fight with all of the adds and natures ability to still do good ST with adds. The frustrating part is bad groups as you mention outside of the forms damage drops and in wipes you find yourself often in human form. “Black Adam Ally is a must for nature imo. Finally some of nature’s animations are funky serpent call locks you into to place at the worse times. Look forward to adding ivy to this. Great video OC
It's a shame that nature becoming better is behind a paywall like allies but at least until sometime if ever in the future we get a powerset revamp we can use Ivy to make nature dps interesting again
It's cool there making them but there about to start a flavor of the month race again like they did with power passes back in the day. But now they found a great way to do same thing but profit heavy on it. i guess good for them as it helps them profit but bad for us
I've been nature for years now and Might DPS has always been meh at best and we really needed Posion IVY omg this is great for us. We just need now something for our healing side for more shields and increasing HOT rate 🤭🤭😁🤭🤣 I also will add water might needs help as well 😬😬🤭
I’d love a water ally close to what Poison ivy does for nature. I’d have to change my loadout which is the only thing that scares me because I’ll need to start using drown if their going to act like poison ivy with poison. I do pretty well as water might but like I tell my league, water might you gotta really work at it to be good because I see so many water nights out there and their damage numbers at the end are usually near the bottom in comparison to myself and others. Water prec is supposedly good but I’ll never go prec or at least be a long time if I do

Unfortunately even with ally nature still can’t keep up with gadgets&elec gem spam prec or rage beserk spam But it’s definitely now up there in the muni, celest , ice etc category Better than being in the water or quantum category And like you said, natures biggest enemy is itself, the boss immunity phases are a real killer. In the time you refresh and go into gorilla and get all the buff up, the elec prec has popped cb and a 2500 with their orange circles 😅
Nature doesn’t come close to muni nor ice 😂😂 as for the water and quantum part I’m easily top dps with either or. Had people send tells telling my water might dps is the best they’ve seen

Especially after gem nerf n when ice can’t spam golem and muni cant nvb and 2500 cheese Have to remember also nature can’t spam 2500s and gorilla is weaker than golem, along with boss immunity phases u lose dots so have to return to human and set them up then go back into gorilla costing 5k sc so unless u got 2 gem spammers rn u can’t be wasting 5k on nvb if u have to set up dots again
So nature hasn't changed at all basically since they removed advanced mechanics, that used to be so op, even pbg days nature was op, now they sell you an ally to make it possibly op again? Seems kinda shady
So the debuffs the tank provides with this ally stack’s with the controller’s debuffs (amulet of rao)? If amulet of rao is at 50% debuff then the tank would add an additional 10%?
Would you consider the 2nd passive useful on non tank classes? If I always have a shield up as a water healer (Clarion/Bubble/Tempest Guard) would it still proc enough to lets say be worth switching with Batman who Laughs
If I had to guess and from what I know and saw on test he will be available with the next game update in June and also when EOG gets changed with this new update in June 😊😁 hope that answers your question.
Lmao my fire battle tank for open world bounties I run in full Dps gear with clarion and Supes shield and a hard light with weapon mastery shurieken will now be a de buffer oh my! I honestly can run everything other then elite raids like that already and keep aggro and easily stay alive while out Dpsing the average bear! Guess I’m getting her to test the waters
nature prec hasn't worked that well in the past, you do get some extra prec with the ally buff so that may be enough to push it but its just a slower setup with the dots and then having to use harvest instead of something to clip flurry or brawl with. Harvest is longer animation
@@ObsidianChill I was trying it out on test server early on but I wasn’t using harvest. I was just refreshing my dot pretty much how I would with tesla ball on elec. Not sure if that’s worse than using harvest but I don’t think nature will be able to compete with elec at least until the eog nerf lol. I gotta admit that elec sc carries.😅
@@geoffreylane5606 increases crits every supercharge so with circuit breaker spam it would make Elec completely broken with constant crit increase and dmg increase
The 2nd passive got changed on release today, its not debuffing the damage anymore, only debuffing defenses for 15%(solo) and 10%(groupe) do you think its still viable ?
Its only defense, no damage so i don’t know.. maybe its the french translation because in market place, or at Cyborg, the ally descrpition don’t talk about damage reduction
Question, during boss immunity phases like TTE first boss, do you have to reapply the PI even if they’re still targetable and you’re hitting harvest on them while they are invulnerable? Likewise for faust during ROEE when he does lazy blast? I know when he spawns adds he does brcsuse hes not even targetable then Or does it not reapply PI during invulnerable phases even if they are targetable?
Harvest won't refresh if the target is invulnerable/not targetable. So it comes down to timing, in TTE it is possible if you refresh right before the dome phase starts but its a tight window. Roe I believe is too long of a window but could be wrong, haven't been nature in Roee
@@ObsidianChill i guess that’s one way of unintentional balancing… all 3 latest raids, atleast one boss fight where a boss becomes Invulnerable multiple times or straight up disappears, meaning if you don’t have sc as nature to go back into gorilla your dps will be booty cheeks… People are hitting big on sparring targets but that doesn’t reflect actual content where theres mechs/revives/phases and you could lose your dots multiple times and not have a healer using gem or not have enough sc to go back into gorilla. Meanwhile the precs are spamming 2500s like no tomorrow and maintaining constant damage 😅 Hope they don’t nerf ivy tbh
Are we positive they fixed harvest proc'ing Ivy? The buff doesn't seem to reset or stack when using harvest to keep the dots up and on;t triggers the red hands if I use a dot power again.
@@ObsidianChill okay, so just to clarify for anyone that comes after me....the part where it says for 15 seconds using a poison power inflicts empowering Spores. This is nothing more than what is on cooldown for 50-30 seconds depending on what level you have her correct? The buff, however (empowering BLOOM) says it last 5 seconds and resets the timer of any other stacks. Does this mean if within that 5 seconds another empowering bloom isn't triggered then you lose the buff and must wait for the cool down of empowering Spores to reset to try stack empowering blooms again?
I don't understand why empowering spores was only discussed with nature dps. Just because poison ivy is "nature" or nature themed doesn't mean that she has to be used with nature. According to what I read on the ally, you get the % might stacks no matter what power you are, so wouldn't empowering spores be really beneficial to any might dps? It seems like the minimum of 2% might increase would serve way better throughout any content than shazam that only boosts might briefly when a combat ally is used. What am I missing here?
empowering spores only procs with poison power interaction. Only nature applies poison. They are designing powerset specific allies going forward, some passives may work with other powersets but similar to Static and electric power interaction Ivy is the same with nature.
@ObsidianChillDCUO I was going to ask if you're sure this hasn't been changed and say that the ally text doesn't say that at all, but I notice it says poisoning an enemy through a superpower... I assumed that was the "poison ivy" way of saying hitting someone with a superpower, but you're saying it specifically means poisoning pi. Usually, the pi word would be a different color or bold or something. Did you test to see if it works with another power? Has anyone tested and can confirm? I was about to be op, but of course, never my power. I'm sure they'll make prec even more op when they get to mine. By the way, I see what you're saying and am not necessarily disagreeing. I'm just wondering if anyone has confirmed via a test.
Also, holy cow... I would've dumped all my stuff into poison ivy last night if I wasn't so sleepy. I'm glad I watched this today, and thank you so much for responding and preventing total disaster.
Ice TANK! Shields for days, and enemies get debuffed just for attacking you. :p I wonder how it'd work with Fire. Fire has the weird "shield" that reduce instead of preventing damage... I wonder.....
you'll still get the prec increase on the stacks so while it may be more effective for might natures it can still function for prec. Just depends if you switch from nature in the future or not
wolf not really, just a short buff at least with Gorilla you get the aoe finisher and the dual loadout for dot setups and can still technically put neo in gorilla form as well
its possible, but gadgets might has a easier time dealing damage then the nature with ivy. Its not a giant gap but with nature you would always need to maintain SC unlike gadgets

Lol I said that wrong damn ESO and WOW. Its specific with nature only , it works only off nature's power interaction. My APPLY POSION , was a dumb example of playing ESO where you "Apply posion" to weapons. Sorry for that ignorant reply.
@@brucemccauley6099 the poison gets applied by the ally it basically works like the arts we have now and no draw back only thing is nature it benefits because they spam and have rotation that had gas a lot of powers from regular loadout to wolf form …. Benefits lot of powers from tray used wich triggers the allly … So technically any power can use especially a power that has a spammy rotation aka no Cast time powers that are vulnerable to interrupt.. so prec and Nature it literally says prec 1% might 2% there’s nothing in game that’s gonna give you free stats like this ??! I dare say Meta and probably replaces a lot of allies on dps loadouts once they figure it out
Also just an FYI as it sits the Ally Batman who laughs that’s really in everyone’s loadout! Is only a chance at 2% prec a chance lol it definitely replaces that … or if you have a good troll you can run both but yeah this beats bat who laughs easy 😂
@@CarlosMartinez-oq7cx while BWL is rng 2/4 procs you can use as a dps so over the course of a instance you’ll still benefit. Also it works for various roles so it’s easy on the money cause you can use it for support. You can definitely swap between 3-4 Allie’s for dps depending on the situation.
I disagree. As long as there's a 30-40 players in every lobby or thousands of players still active overall in the game stat-wise(casual and hardcore), this game ain't going anywhere. Devs are still making enough money to keep this thing alive. Plus, there's people still spending money on this game and enough casuals that produce enough traffic. It's not going anywhere as long as people keep spending money and kids keep joining this game and playing it. To be considered "dead", you have to be the only player or with one or two players in every lobby you're in. If you're with 30-40 players in spaces(on avg) where you spawn, it doesn't properly define "dead", even if they're MIA at the moment.
It's not dead it's just not as awesome as WoW , ESO and it will never recover like FF14, unless they get a dev team City of heroes and use similar features that it's had , like character Bio , power color change , every power can heal, tank and control. And reward "Roles " with bonus rewards for runs ,like WoW and Ff14 , during lack of roles moments, (DPS isn't a role it's default) PLUS UPGARDE THE HORRIBLE GRAPHICS, and make the power like appealing to the eye .
SO how does this relate to the comics? When did superman change his artifacts? never right? and I want to complain a bit about the mutigen injectors from Dakota city. Why are hero's equipping mutigen injectors? that's the evil villain Bane's method of simulating super powers, I don't want to adopt that villains strategies so I refuse to build and equip the injectors on my hero. I dont want my hero to be a chemical junkie like bane so not to give the junkie lifestyle a pass I refuse to equip it while the country has such an opiate crisis. now even games are making it seem drug abuse is acceptable. KIDS ARE WATCHING IF THAT MATTERS TO YOU. BUT THE GAME NEEDS AN R RATING WHILE THE INJECTORS ARE IN.. As such this has made my game end basically. I cannot do the duos alerts or raids without dying even with my full elite suit from Sins of Black Adam and the elite items from Dakota city. I also don't team other people I skip anything I cannot do solo. but not teaming the entire game I only have 365 sp. but I built this with NO help from strangers. and Tamerine is strong enough for me to feel fulfilled now. I totally detest being called trash by people carrying me so I don't team anyone. no one will ever carry me anywhere. you never know who will call you out and deride you publicly. it happened twice and I don't allow it ever again. I use the black adam ally occasionally but i find allies fairly useless. definitely not worth their build cost. and all the woke verbal bs from other allies caused me to choose Adam over them since he is very masculine in his verbage. the black wonder woman is useless. I wasted so much finishing her and really feel took. and lectured to by her so shes out. the game isnt following any role play accuracy any more. other than that I love the game
