That's kinda bs i know that natsuki's dad is canonically very abusive but imagine someone just makes fun of their possessed daughter, no abusive parent is like that. They would mostly likely feel bad but still abusive when mad plus he only abuses natsuki because her mom passed away so if he manages to kill natsuki he'd be very sad and lonely cause he's lost two of his loved ones he held dearly. Natsuki also stated that her father was never even abusive when her mom was alive so it's either he got so mad or just blamed everything on her so yes he's mad enough to abuse but got no guts to kill. So all in all this AU's natsuki's dad is more on the crazy side than in the abusive side, so if you made him a bit less crazy atleast not crazy enough to not make fun of his possessed daughter I also like this au because of how you dont ship monika's and natsuki's dad cause like two STRAIGHT men but yeah just make him a little less crazy and your alright.

Side Note: I also like to think that Natsuki's dad is very abusive but also overprotective so a "AYO WTF" or a "Don't touch my daughter" reaction will be cool.
