Synopsis:
When Raj (Shah Rukh Khan) & Simran (Kajol) first met on an inter-rail holiday in Europe, it wasn't exactly Love at first sight...but when Simran is taken back to India for an arranged marriage, Love makes its presence felt.
Encouraged by his father Dharamvir (Anupam Kher - Bend it like Beckham & ER), Raj decides to fly down from London to not just win his Bride but her whole family and the blessings of her father Baldev Singh (Amrish Puri - Indiana Jones & Temple of Doom). All this while the celebrations for her wedding are in full swing.
The longest running film in Indian Cinema released on 20th October 1995 and is still showing in Mumbai (India). It won every major award in the year of release & Shah Rukh Khan shot to superstardom with this film and it defined the term "Bollywood".

The iconic film ever!! I think this movie has changed Indian cinema's history. The iconic couple Srk and Kajol. I really loved the video because I could know what happened actually at that time. They were young. I wish it would become the film of this time I mean 2000's era. Then I would be able to enjoy the celebrations of their young time. As I am very young girl and born very later. Are you sure it was a cameo? I've never heard anything like tht. mentioned anywhere. She also seems confused wht type of a scene they were shooting. She asks yeh Ghana wala hain kya? I think uday can relate to sharukh's position back then. Probably he himself hoped that looks wouldnt be everything. Ironically.. even though srk is one of the biggest bollywood heroes : today again nepotism rules . No one from non-bollywood heritage or small screen makes it big. And looks matters way too much. This movie alone did wonders for SRK and turned him around to a romantic hero like Amir and Salman became with MPK and QSQT.
