I love DDP. He has the coolest story in the history of wrestling. Of everyone who has ever tried, he probably had the lowest chance of becoming a star, and somehow he did it. It couldn't have happened to a better person. I remember seeing him for the first time on Starrcade '91. He had just started wrestling for WCW at that time. They were still kinda treating him like a manager who was trying to wrestle at that point, and I rooted for him immediately even though he was a heel at the time. I was really fun watching him slowly move up the card and become a success, despite the odds.
I've learnt more in this 1:07:29 than I have in the past 10 years about life. DDP is 66 but looks and moves like he's 46. DDP is a legend and a blessing to us all and he's so interesting to listen to.
27:42 I'm so sick of hearing that. No matter what you do, it doesn't justify implying some cosmic force values you over so many who suffer and die every day. You did the work. You deserve the praise. If other people helped, praise them too. That's it.
